Chapter 9

Mia woke up with the worst case of morning sickness she ever had. Even after she threw up most of the contents of her stomach, which wasn't much she dry heaved for what felt like hours. When she was done she felt a cold cloth placed on her forehead and she heard a woman's voice but she was too out of it to process what she was saying. The woman helped Mia towards the bed and told Mia to stay still, before long Mia heard her come back into the room and helped her to sit up and began to feed her something. After she was finished she told Mia to get some rest and before long all Mia saw was blackness.
Mia was awoke by voices and when she opened her eyes she saw Marcus, a doctor and some strange lady who must have been the woman from earlier. The doctor said "She's waking up, Marie help her up, do it slowly" The lady from earlier came to Mia's side and helped her up then handed her a glass of water. Mia took small sips and felt her throat relax. "Thank You Marie" She smiled at me and said in the sweet little Italian accents "Your welcome sweetheart" then she left the room. Mia turned to the doctor and said "What happened?" Before the doctor could say anything a terrible thought came to Mia, in a panic Mia yelled "Is the baby OK please tell me my baby is OK!" The doctor came over to Mia and placed her hand on her shoulder and calmly said "Calm down Mrs de Luca, the baby is fine." Mia let out a sigh of relief and then said "So why are you here?" She smiled and said "Your husband here got worried when Marie told him your morning sickness took a toll on you" Mia turned to Marcus and said "Haven't you ever heard of morning sickness, you really called a doctor all the way over here for morning sickness?" If Mia didn't know any better she could have sworn she saw a little color on Marcus's cheeks. Before Marcus could say something the doctor intervened and said "It's nothing, he's not the first nor will he be the last husband to worry about his wife and unborn child over morning sickness. But just to be safe I'd advice you book an appointment within the next 2 weeks with your own doctor. ok?" "It's already being taken care of she'll see one once we arrive in Italy." The doctor nodded and started packing up her things and proceeded to leave the suite. Mia decided not to ask any questions till the doctor left and they had total privacy. After she heard the door to the suite close she turned and faced Marcus and said "1. Who are you to make my doctors appoints for me without my consent. 2. Who the hell said I'm going to Italy."
Marcus looked at her and just said in his isn't it obvious tone "To meet my family of course." Then he just turned around and left the room. Mia took up one of her pillows and pitched across the now empty space that use to hold Marcus and yelled "You still didn't answer my first question!" When she was met with silence she fell back unto the bed grabbed another pillow put it over her head and screamed.

And she is alive. Lol I'm back for now I had a serious case of writers block and I didn't want to produce shitty work. So I waited till the inspiration hit me and then I wrote my heart out hope you like this.
