I Got Kidnapped..By My Mate?

Chapter 6

Great
I get to meet new people! Fantastic...Im not socially awkward at all, nope not me.
But, at least I can make some friends. Maybe I won't have to just talk to Blade now. Well I guess there's that one guy, what was his name? Austin? Andrew? I don't know, I'll meet him again at some point.
Speaking of Blade.
I look up at him as he's carrying me down the extended hallway.
"Is there any reason why you're carrying me like this?" I ask breathlessly.
"I thought it'd be romantic." He grumbles, not bothering to look at me.
"I don't see what's so romantic about a 6'5" guy carrying a 5 foot girl, bridal style, down a hallway." I reply, "Someone is gonna think you're kidnapping me, oh wait."
He lets out a short chuckle, "Why do you always treat me like this?"
"Just giving you a rough time, big boy." I slap him in the chest with my tiny hand, I sort of doubt he even noticed
"You've got to be kidding me. Did you even feel that?" I mumble.
"Yes I did, but barely." Had a feeling, I thought to myself.
"So uh, we almost there yet?" I ask, laying my head down on his chest.
"Actually, I don't think I want you to meet people as of right now. I want to take you somewhere else."
"Great. Where would this place be?" I roll my eyes.
I can feel each step he takes, every stride makes my hair sway back and forth over his arm. And my legs are slightly moving up and down.
He sneaks a look at me and then looks back up, "well, darling, that's a surprise."
Oh Heck no. No more surprises.
He gives a slight grunt, "No answer? Do you not want to be surprised?"
"Well I guess it'd be okay, maybe I'll grow to like your surprises." That was intended to make him laugh, and by the looks of it, it didn't quite work out the way I planned.
He smirks and looks down at me, "Oh, you'll grow to like my surprises, beautiful."
I feel my cheeks warm up a little bit so I shift my gaze down to his chest, hoping he doesn't notice.
"Aww you're blushing, how cute." He lets out a low rumble that I'm guessing is a laugh.
I decide not to answer because if I do, he'll come up with some badass comeback..even though that's supposed to be my job.
"Oops I think I broke her." He mumbles.
I scoff and look up at him, "This surprise better be damn good."
Somehow we made it outside without me even noticing. He finally put me down right in front of a car, ehm the same car I got kidnapped in.
I open the passengers side and notice that Blade was standing behind the door with his hand up towards the handle. He was probably gonna open the door for me..I grit my teeth and mumble an apology as I slide into the seat.
He makes his way to the drivers seat and gets in with ease, like he's done it many times before.
I pull my seat belt down and slide it into the lock until I hear the familiar *click*.
Blade does the same and then lifts his gaze towards me, scanning my face like a person would read a book, looking for details.
I lift my eyebrows, "What? Let's go."
"Sorry, you're just so beautiful." He says, his cheeks gaining color as he turns and places his hands on the wheel.
I give out a tiny giggle, not because I found it funny, but because it sounded like one of those cheesy movie scenes where the guy is trying to get the girl just a little too hard.
I decide to just let the comment slide, I have no reason to snap something back at him.
He backs out of the driveway and starts driving down the road, while I continue to stare out the window at the never-ending trees.
We seem to drive about 20 minutes before he finally breaks the silence.
"So uh, you like surprises?"
"Depends on what they are." I reply.
"Well I guarantee you'll like this one."
"Is that so?" I sneak a quick glance at him and then shoot straight back to the trees outside.
"Yes, you'll love it, or at least I'm hoping you will."
"I am too." I sigh.
This is gonna be a long day, and I'm not gonna lie,
Im kinda glad I get to spend a long day with a him, I can get used to this.
