Damien's POV
From the moment I was born, my parents were constantly reminding me I was special. I was a fulfillment to a prophesy along with five other people I've never met, and apparently one of those people was my soul mate. This all sounded like nonsense to me, but things weren't always what they seemed. I am a vampire, living amongst humans, and none of them have any idea what I am. There are two kinds of vampires just like there are two kinds of werewolfs and shapeshifters. There is those that were created, and those that were born to this nature and descended from the originals. I was born a vampire.
I've gone to schools, and I've made a few friends with the humans, but none of them have ever known my secret. It's to dangerous of something to share. I look down at my left hand palm. On it is my birthmark, a moon inside a sun. It's how my parents know I am one of the six uniters. The six of us are supposedly supposed to unite the Night World, the world of mythical creatures, and the Day World, the world of humans.
We recently just moved. It was my 21st move. My parents constantly had us moving. They were searching for my soul mate. That was the main reason I lived here in the Day World. My soulmate was human. My birthday was exactly two weeks away and my parents were franatic. I still hadn't found my soulmate and she hadn't found me.
"Damien," my mother called, "Im sure this is the right shool. She has to be here. Iv'e done my research."
I was so sick of hearing this. My mom said this everytime we moved and I started a new school. She was always so sure, but always so wrong. I doubted she was right this time.
"That's what you said about the last twenty schools mom," I yelled, grabbing my backpack, and heading out the door to my car.
I plugged Brandywine High School into my GPS, and followed the caculated route to my new school. Making a final right, I pulled into a parking lot with a big sign saying Brandywine High School, Home of the Lions. This school was huge compared to most of the schools I had attended. There were tons of people standing around the parking lot, and a bunch more of people walking into the school. I parked in a spot under a tree. Stepping out of my car, the looks began. This always happened as I entered a new school. People first stared at my car, processing that I had to be rich in order to have a car like that, and then people stared at me because they relaized I was new and I had this mysterious look about me.
I tried to ignore everyone's stares and walked with my head forward toward the school building. For a while, I used to try and make friends with people, but I didn't care any longer for that. I was constantly moving and after you moved, you no longer had your friends. Two weeks I'd be at this school if the prophesy was true and I was a uniter. Two weeks and for once in my life, maybe I'd be living in a permanent place.
Sam's Point of View
I walked into first period and walked right up to my boyfriend, Nick. We had been going out for a year now. As I approached him, he stood from his seat and greeted me with a kiss. The teacher cleared his throat and gave us a look. I took my seat as Mr. Reynolds started the class. We were talking about the Cold War today in class...boring.. I turned to Nick and smiled at him. I was about to pass him a note when I noticed Mr. Reynolds had stopped talking and was glaring at someone.
That someone was gorgeous. He had dark brown hair, that was pratically black, and eyes bluer then the ocean. He was medium sized built and had this menacing look to him. He had to be new I would have noticed him before.
