You watched from afar as your fiancé tightened his hold on Teddy, looking out at the view of the sunset. He turns around, locking his light purple eyes with your (e/c) ones.
You two kept staring at each other for a few minutes, until Kanato grew bored of this and broke the silence with a simple request.
"(Y/n)-chan, I'm hungry. Want to go get cake?"
You nodded, standing up and patting down your skirt. Kanato clutched onto Teddy tighter to his chest and stood up as well, waiting for you. He reached out his hand for you to take. You took it and walked along side him.
Walking through the great big halls of the Sakamaki mansion, you passed by Laito, making eye contact with him. He gave you a playful wink and earned a glare by the vampire holding your hand tightly.
Finally arriving in the kitchen, you saw the new sacrificial bride, Azumi Myoko. After Yui joined the Sakamaki family it's obvious that the Sakamaki's needed a new bride. Bringing Azumi, a poor school girl to the residence. You almost felt bad for her, but then again it's none of your business.
"Myoko-san?"
She looked up at the sound of her name being called, only scowling at your presence.
"What do you want you ugly blood-sucking hag?!"
Azumi was never fond of vampires and she hated them a lot. Her family gave her to the Sakamaki's for a mass amount of money, and she was not happy about that. Ever since then, she's been nothing but mean to the vampires, insulting them whenever she had the chance. She's only been bitten twice however, only by Laito and Kanato.
Kanato didn't like how her words were directed to you, he shot her a glare and ignored her. You stood in the same spot you were and watched as Kanato pushed Azumi to the side to grab the strawberry cake on the counter. Azumi frowned at this and started getting mad.
"Oi! What was that about! You jerk that hurt!"
Kanato simply ignored her.
"Hmph as expected from a teddy bear loving freak!"
Kanato froze, as Azumi grabbed Teddy off the counter that Kanato carefully placed on.
"Ugh! So creepy! Like vampires themselves you stupid bear! And why does it smell like ashes?"
Azumi dropped Teddy as an enraged Kanato grabbed her throat, choking her while yelling.
"HOW DARE YOU?! YOU INSULTED TEDDY AND VIOLATED HIM AND EVEN INSULTED MY LOVE! DO YOU WANT TO MAKE ME MAD? DO YOU WANT ME TO KILL YOU?!?!?"
Azumi clawed at Kanato's arm so that he can free her, only to fail.
Kanato continued strangling the black haired girl and just when she was about to live her last moments, a small (s/c) hand was gently placed on Kanato's shoulder. He turned his head and saw the calm face of his fiancé turn into a small gentle smile.
No words were exchanged, yet that was enough to calm Kanato down. He loosened his grip on Azumi's neck, finally letting go and glaring at her one more time. (Y/n) removed her hand and let Kanato grab Teddy. Azumi felt her neck and glared at Kanato.
