N I C H O L E
I was up and ready for school. I didn't feel like going to school. It's senior year and I have a feeling it's going to be horrible....
I was riding my bike to school and I was nervous about today....
As I got to school I saw Amy my bestfriend.
"Nick!! Come on. I got our schedules." She said.
I smiled and went towards my locker.
"What classes did I get?" I asked.
"Mostly AP. AP English, AP Art, AP Calculus, PE, and Physics." She said.
"Only 5?" I questioned.
"No. Last one is Athletics. Then the two others are home. So you get to go home early everyday." She said.
"Look who's here. Nichole Bowman. I thought you weren't going to show up." Danielle said.
I walked away and ignored her.
"Yeah walk away you cry baby." She said.
Danielle is my bully. She has the urge to call me names or embarrass me infront of the whole school. Even infront of my ex best friend Theo.
"I'll take you to class." She said.
As I entered class everyone stayed quiet.
"Here she is again!" Danielle said.
I gave her my middle finger and she gasped.
"How dare you disrespect me!" She yelled.
"You know. If you want others to respect you. You yourself have to respect others. That's the shit I realized these years living in this hell school." I said.
"You fucking bitch." She said.
"Call me whatever you want Danielle. It doesn't hurt me. It makes you look stupid." I muttered.
"Oh really?" She said while slamming her hands onto my desk.
"Yes Danielle." I said.
"You better watch it." She said.
"Or what?" I said.
"Just watch it." She said.
Class started and I sat on my seat listening to teacher lecture us on what we were going to do in class.
As the hour passed by I headed out of class and went to nutrition.
"Hey Nick." Theo said.
"Oh so now you want to talk." I said.
"Um. I just wanted to say it was cool how you stood up for yourself." He said.
I nodded and got my food.
"Look Theo. Yes, you went out with Danielle and yes we were bestfriends. But you walked away from me to become this popular jock. You cannot just pretend that nothing happened." I said.
"I know." He whispered.
I walked away from him and left to an empty table.
"Hey!" Amy said.
"Hey." I said.
"So Tori is coming. We have class together for music." She said.
I smiled and continued to eat my food.
"Theo is coming...." She whispered."Hey again. Come to my house afterschool. I'm gonna show you that I haven't forgotten you...." He said.
"What makes you think I will come over?" I said.
"I'll have krispy kreme donuts and your favorite starbucks coffee." He whispered.
"I'll think about it...." I said sternly.
He nodded and left the table.
"Theo why are you talking to this nerd." Danielle said.
He ignored her and left to his friends.
I got up from the table and left to the music class.
"What are you two doing this weekend?" Tori asked.
"Nothing."
"Well Danielle invited me to her party and we are going. Theo is going to be there. You like him since middle school!" She said while whispering the last part.
I hit her arm and she whined in pain.
"Fine I'll go.... I'm not going dressy."
"Ugh. I hate when you do that!" Tori whined again.
"I'm going too."
We sat down in music class just listening to the teacher and waiting for this class to finish. Thank god Theo or Danielle weren't in this class.
"Bowman. You are being transfered from music to PE. Looks like you've taken Music already." The teacher said.
"Darn it ." I mumbled.
I got my things and went to the locker room.
I changed my clothes and went into the field.
"Ms. Bowman. We are going to do the mile and then you can do what you please." Mrs. Dawson said.
"Alright."
We started with the mile and I was used to this.
"Ms. Bowman impressive. 2 laps in 3:04." She said .
"Thanks. I run every weekend." I said.
I got back to my running and finished the mile in 5 minutes and 33 seconds.
"Hey! Nichole lets play softball. You are batting first." One of my classmates yelled.
I went over and got a helmet and a bat.
"Don't try to hit anyone!"
I was in the batters box and with the first pitch I hit the ball to the outfield.
I sprinted to second and I just felt the pain on my while arm and wrist.
I screamed in pain and went on my knees.
"Oh my god!!! Justin!!!!" My classmate yelled.
"Did I throw it to hard? What happened?" He questioned.
I was now crying. I couldn't lift my arm.
"Oh my god. Oh. My. Her bone is out! Its out her skin!!! Call the teacher!!!" They yelled.
"Is this blood all over my shirt.... Woah. I'm getting dizzy. Blood makes me dizzy you guys." I mumbled.
"The nurse is coming. They called an ambulance."
I was now sobbing. I felt numb and my head was spinning....
