"OMG someone actually misses me because I'm beautiful. Is this even real right now!!" I silently scream to myself holding the phone away from me so he couldn't hear.
"So does this stranger have a name?" I try to be cool but I can feel my excitement going through the roof.
"Janoi," he chuckles deep in my ear, sending my mind in a spiral of emotion and lust, "Janoi Spooner, try not to laugh at my last name."
"Well Mr. Spooner you have a really sweet name."
"And Ms. Faminoff you have a beautiful smile" he romantically whispers thru the phone, his smile practically floating through my mind.
2 hours of sweet conversation later he convinces me to hop in my car and take him somewhere on the mountains of Kelowna, beaming I pull on my muscle car shirt, a pair of skinny jeans and my snow boots, covering up with a warm sweater and racing outside to hop inside my car. As I grab my keys by the front door, I stop in my tracks and think to myself if it's safe to meetup with a complete stranger. "It couldn't be that bad.."
Heading out the door, a little rush of excitement rushes through my body. "Okay, I can do this" I whisper.
Walking to my Eleanor, I scan it's body, admiring every part of it. As I hop in the car, I take a deep breath and stick the key in the ignition, awakening every single one of its 420 horsepower, feeling it idle begging for juice; I back it out the driveway and gently rumble it down the street, hoping i won't disturb my fellow neighbors.
Turning onto the highway, I pull out my phone and dial Janoi's phone number.
"Hello?" Janoi asks
"Hey, how's it going? So, I'm just on the highway now. What's your address again?" I ask with an excited tone.
"*Chuckle*, Someone's excited. I live on 39th Av. Shouldn't be far from you." He replies.
"Oh, ya. I see it. I'll be there in a minute." Smirking to myself and half biting my lip.
"Okay, see you soon." As the line goes dead. Pulling into his fancy driveway, the road starts turning to the left and in the clearing behind the trees there is a beautiful mansion-like house.
"Holy crap! This is his place??" I could feel my eyes glistening as I watch this house get bigger and bigger as I get closer. Parking out front and turning off the car, I take one more breather before hopping out. Finally, I find myself standing outside his door, knocking. As I hear him getting closer to the door, I scan myself over to make sure I look alright.
As the door slowly creaks open, I am greeted by the talk man I recognized at the Cafe. "Why hello there beautiful" he says with a smile. "How are you doing on this lovely night?"
"I'm great to be honest. Really needed to be out of the house tonight. Thank you for meeting up with me." I said softly.
"Hey, It's not a problem. No need to thank me." He stares deeply into my eyes almost looking like he got lost in them.
"Anywho, let's get going? The night is slowly drifting away." I said a little awkwardly. Turning around so my back faces him, I slowly start walking to my car.
"That's your car??" shockingly he asked.
"Um, well ya. I've had it for a while now; been slowly working on it, upgrading, designing, repai--" as I get cut off.
"You made that!?"
"Yes, hehe. Why so shocked? Don't think a girl like me can like or do things like that?" I asked with a smirk.
"Um, well. Yea, I mean no! Of course a girl can do those things, but that's amazing that I found such a beautiful girl like you who has a passion for cars and... you know..?" As he slowly gets lost into my eyes again.
"Okay. Haha. Well, I'm glad you think so. Let's go. I know a perfect spot we can go to." I look at him with a sweet gentle smile as I grab his hand softly and walk with him to my car. As we get inside he says, "I can not believe a beautiful young lady like you has such a car."
"Well, thank you. That means a lot. I have spent lots of time into this beast." I say with a wink and a smirk. I turn on the radio to my favorite country station to a soft volume.
