RING RING RI-
I groaned loudly and slammed my hand onto my alarm clock. I glanced at my clock and checked the time. 7:20am. Still feeling tired I reluctantly got out of my warm, cosy bed and headed to the bathroom. Quickly, I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and now feeling slightly more awake I entered my room.
Wasting no time, I sat down in front of my makeup table and started applying black mascara, dark eye shadow to bring out my green eyes, a little blush and lastly some strawberry flavoured lip gloss. I like to keep my face clean with only a certain amount of makeup and not cake my face in it like some girls do. If only they know how ridiculous they look, I thought chuckling to myself.
I then curled my dirty blond hair and chose something to wear. Today was my first day at Eastwood high, and I wanted to look my best. I mean, I know some people who don't dress up well and once they walk into that school, they will have a really bad reputation. Now, now, just so you would know, I'm not a crazy bitch who wants to be queen-bee and have an awesome reputation and I am not stuck up. I just want to make a good first appearance and not have an extremely bad reputation straight away. I mean, that makes sense right?
Finally, I decided on a pair of new blue denim shorts which I brought last summer, a loose white top which had slits on the side near my shoulder and some hot looking leather boots. Looking in the mirror, I checked my appearance once more, grabbed my Furla handbag (which was pretty big, it can fit all my books in there) and exited my room.
I ran downstairs into the kitchen and grabbed an apple to eat on the way to my new school.
"See you mum! Bye dad!" I yelled.
"Bye honey! Have fun at school today. Your father and I won't be back till late this evening by the way" my mum yelled back from up the stairs.
"Ok" I said and exited the door, not bothering to lock it. My mum always does it and remembers anyway. Outside, I felt the cool summer breeze against my face and I smiled. I jumped in my car, turned on the engine and drove to school.
