Dear Niall **TRIGGERING**

Chapter 4

I ran to the bridge, tears streaming down my face. I stared at the edge for a moment, and climbed over. 

I stared at the river below me, and hiccuped from crying so much. “What are you doing? Get down! You might fall!” I almost laughed.

“That’s what I’m hoping.” I responded.

“Please, please get down! Dont get hurt!” “You don’t even know me! You don’t know what I’ve been through! You have no idea! I am nothing! I’m doing this! And you can’t stop me!”

I started to scoot forward, over the river, to fly into the river, but strong arms caught me. “LET ME GO!” I screamed. I struggled with all my might. But I wasn’t strong enough. They pulled me back onto the bridge, and I fell to the ground. I tried to get back up, tried to run to the edge, but the person stopped me again. I collapsed and sobbed, head in my hands. “Please...just let me do this...” “I can’t, love.” I detected an Irish accent in the voice. “Wh-who are you? Wh-why would y-you c-care?” I asked, still crying.

“A beautiful girl like you doesnt deserve to be hurt. I want to help you.” I looked up and saw a glimpse of blonde hair before I blacked out.

Niall POV:

I couldn’t leave her here, she will try to hurt herself again! I sighed, and picked her up, bridal style.

I walked her back to the car, and opened the back door, setting her in the seat gently. Since I finally had my license, I had taken the car out, I had needed to get out and get some fresh air. I drove back to my flat, where all the boys are. 

“Hey mate! Who’s this?” Liam asked. “I dont know her name...She tried to jump off the bridge and I saved her.” Liam sighed. “Is she hurt?” “I dont think so.” 

I set her down on the couch and Liam checked her for injuries. The rest of the boys ran in. “Who’s this?” “Uh...” “A friend of mine.” Liam butted in, saving me from having to explain to them. I shot him a grateful look, and looked back at the boys. “Can we have some time with her, until she wakes up?” They nodded, and raced out of the room. 

I saw her head moving and I glanced down at her. Her eyes fluttered open. “Niall? What? I’ve never-what?” “I saved you.” I said simply. “Why?” “Because, I would’ve ated myself if I hadn’t.” “But Niall...I need to.” “No you dont.” “YES I DO!” She roared. The boys raced back in, and stopped when they saw her. “‘Ello love. What’s your name?” Harry asked. “I’m Sarah.” “Wait...did you send me Snowflake?” She looked up. “you got him??” I nodded. “Well yes, yes I did.” “Can I talk to her alone guys?”

They all nodded and left. “Sarah, why did you do that?” “my mum is in jail, and I only have one friend, the rest hate me now. Including my ‘best friend.’” She said sadly. I hugged her. 

“I care. And you can stay with us. Where do you live? We’ll go pack up your stuff.” “Okay...” She told me the address, explaining it was her friends flat, not her’s, and that her ‘friend’ would most likely be there, since she didn’t have a job. “Okay, hey Liam, can you take one of the boys to go pack up Sarah’s things?” He nodded and I gave him the address. He and Zayn took off. “Sarah, are you okay?” She shook her head.

I sighed. “It’ll be alright love.” She shook her head, “No it wont.”
