~Flashback~
"Sam! I am done with you and all your bullshit!" You shout, making him step back towards the door.
"Ronnie, please!" he begs, about to cry
"I SAID I AM FUCKING DONE! GET OUT!" You scream, pointing at the door.
"Fine. I love you" He says, giving you one last kiss on the cheek and leaving, never to be seen again.
~Present day~
You are relaxing on your couch, messing around on your laptop when you get a skype call from Caspar.
"Ronnie! Its Sam! He is in the hospital!" he says, crying.
"W-what...?" you ask, the shock hurting like a knife piercing your gut.
"He... He shot himself.." he trails off, breaking down in tears.
"Oh my god.. this is all my fault." you whisper, a tear falling down your cheek. You knew that because you broke it off so suddenly, it had affected him big time.
"Ronnie..." Caspar said comfortingly. You cried harder.
"What hospital is he in?" You ask, quieted by the tears falling down your face.
"St. Jude's Medical Research Hospital, right down the road from where you are." He says, crying a little. You can only hope that Sam is still alive and breathing...

When you arrive at the hospital, you dash to the reception desk.
"In which room may I find Samuel Pepper?" you ask, the lady, a kind-looking woman in her mid-thirties.
"Room 163" she said, scanning through the records.
"Thank you..." you mumbled, running to the room.

"Sam!" you whisper, opening the door.
"R-ronnie?" he asks, clearly weak. A white bandage is wrapped around his chest. A small smile crosses his face
"Oh my god, Sam..." you say quietly, walking to his bedside. You grasp his hand and smile, leaning down to hug him. He puts an arm around you, with what little strength he has left, and you realize that he doesn't have long.
"Sam... I'm so-" you're cut off by his lips on yours.
"Ronnie, I love you till the end of the world, cause till the day I die is too short." he says weakly. That simple comment causes you to burst out in tears. You hug him close, never wanting to let go.
"Sam, I love you. Don't die, please " you whisper, tears streaming down his face
But you're too late.
"Sam...? You ask, looking at him. Eyes closed, perfectly tousled hair, a peaceful expression, he looks almost angelic. But when you press your hand to his chest, you feel two weak 'ba-dum's, then nothing.
"Sam, no..." you cry, curling into the fetal position on his chest. You lie there for hours, crying.
"Sam, I never got to tell you what you mean to me... I love you till the end of time..." you say, your lip trembling.

"When you'd cry, I'd wipe away all of your tears, when you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears, and i held your hand through all of these years, but you still have all of me..." the eerie voice sings at his funeral. You cried and mouthed the words along with the singer.
"Why... why me? why him? why?" you ask yourself over and over.
"I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone... But though you're still with me, I've been alone all along" comes the sad lyrics you've dreaded. At those words, you burst into tears. Wave after wave of guilt washes over you. If only you hadn't sent him off that night... None of this would've happened. He'd still be alive.
