Chapter 10: Katie's Date

Ya so I'm really sorry about not updating anytime :( I'm horrible I know, right.. Well now my chapter are double digits. I started this book last year and hopefully it will be semi long and there might be a sequel.. (:

Katie's POV

I'm so excited.. Zayn is so cute. And he actually asked me to go out on a date with him.. I've never had a cute respectful guy ask me out before. I almost fainted when he asked me... I mean seriously?! He's The Zayn Malik from THE One Direction!!! This is so surreal..

"Hey! KATIE," I hear Holland tell at me snapping her fingers in front of my face. Oops I must've been daydreaming.

"Oh hey sorry! What do you need? Aren't all the girls ready?" I asked Holland. She laughed and replied,

"Katie you do realize you're still wearing a t shirt and a pair of spandex shorts. Not really fit to go out on a date with the Zayn Malik" she giggled a little at the end. She knew I was happy. I walked over to her styling hair and makeup area she had set up.

"What do you want done to your hair?" Holland asked. I thought for moment before I replied.

"I'd like a braided headband with a somewhat messy slash teased ponytail. Trying to keep it mysterious," I said with my best poker face which by the way sucks.. Holland and I ended up laughing our butts off after that.. She finished lightly teasing my ponytail and started on my makeup. She gave me a pinky nude-ish lipstick and a pale pink/light lavender smoky eye mix. And a little blush and bronzed mixed to give me a good complexion. She lined my eyes with a black cat wing.

"Hey holland can I ask you something," I said.

"Sure Katie what's the question?" Holland said while trying to pick out a pair of earrings that matched the grey sweater with the black bow printed on it that she had picked out for me.

-SWITCHING POV TO HOLLAND-

"Do you really really like Niall? Like more than a friend?" she said in her innocent little manner. I sighed.. It was hard to admit it but I had fallen for the sweet blue eyed blonde Irish boy..

"Yeah Katie I do.. I'm crazy about him," I said laughing a little.. If only Katie knew how crazy.. I finally chose a pair of diamond studs to match the sweater I chose for Katie to wear. I had picked out a cute outfit for her. A grey sweater with a black bow on it. A pair of pale peach/cream floral jeans and a pair of my expensive Steve Madden pale peachy coloured stilettos. I had a diamond dragon ring I got from my great grandma when I turned 14 and I thought it would look nice with her outfit.

(A/N- So quick note- my laptop broke and so I have no way to upload their outfits BUT if you go on www.polyvore.com or the polyvore app look me up and whenever I'm describing an outfit ill tell y'all the name and if you want you can look it up. So for Katie's outfit my username is imacrazybeotch <please don't judge I'm weird haha and the outfit name is "Bows and Florals")

"And I think your done," I announced to Katie when she was done changing clothes. Katie was gorgeous.. Why can't I look like her? She's so pretty naturally AND she looks good in everything.... Katie hugged me tightly.

"Thanks so much Holland you da best," Katie said the last part with a gangsta attitude. I laughed and replied

"Katie you have fun. But not too much fun and don't do anything you would regret later," I only have her the pep talk cause she's so fragile and innocent.. But sometimes she's a perverted freak.. Which doesn't sound like her but hey everyone has a side not everyone sees..

SWITCHING POV TO KATIE'S

Woah.. I looked gorgeous for once.. I mean I guess I was pretty-ish. But not as pretty as Holland.. I can't believe Niall hasn't asked her out yet! But anywho ill talk to Zayn about it tonight.. We should totes set them up! Well that's basically what we did tonight. We are so awful! But amazing at the same time. I laughed at that thought while I walked to the door after hearing the doorbell ding.

"Hey love, ready to go?" Zayn said as he casually leaned against the door frame. I giggled and answered,

"Haha of course! Where are we going?"

"We'll most of the time I like keeping it a secret but we're going to see Despicable Me 2 at a drive in movie," he said with a smile. As he opened the passenger side door of his expensive BMW he complimented me.

"You look beautiful tonight Katie.. Well I mean you always look beautiful but I was just.. You know complimenting you," he said awkwardly. I laughed.

"Aw thanks zayn you're not looking too shabby either," I said with a small giggle. We parked right in the middle of the parking lot for the movie.

"I loved the first Despicable Me so I hope this one will be just as good!" I said trying to make a conversation flow. It wasn't hard with Zayn though.

"Yeah the first one was pretty funny!" Zayn agreed as he pulled a huge bag of candy from his backseat along with a few bottles of cokes and sprites. I take a sprite knowing that if I have caffeine Holland would get mad at Zayn cause he doesn't know.

We heard someone announce that the movie was starting when we realized we couldn't watch the movie very well from inside the car so we ended up laying on some blankets on the top of his car.

*Skip to the part where Gru and his fake purple minions are trying to get into the villain's house*

"This part is hilarious," I whisper to Zayn as I shoved some gummy worms down my mouth while trying not to choke from laughing.

"Wait have you seen this before?" Zayn asked. I laughed.

"Well I only saw from about here to the end because I mixed the time up and couldn't go a different time so I just watched from there,"

"Oh okay. I thought you meant you had already seen it cause if you had told you had we could've gone and saw something else," he said kindly. I mentally "awww'ed" in my brain. That is so sweet.

"Dude even if I had already seen the whole thing I still would've wanted to see it with you," I told him with a smile. He smiled back.

*blah blah blah skip to the end where Zayn is taking her home nothing happens*

"Zayn thank you soooo much for the awesome date. The movie was amazing," I said with a huge smile on my face. I had never had such an awesome date before. Zayn smiled back.

"It was my pleasure, love," he replied. I have him a quick kiss on the cheek said goodnight and went into Holland's condo house thing and sighed. Tonight was amazing.

A/N- yeah so I know horrible but this was a quicker update AND a longer chapter! So yeah vote and comment if you want maybe even follow? Maybe? No okay.. Well anyway I loved Despicable Me 2 so there's my inspiration for their date. And also I don't proofread or edit my chapters so yeah.. Maybe when I'm finished with this book I'll have time to go back and fix the spelling and grammar errors.. But anywho it's really late where I am so yeah.. Hope you guys enjoy! (:.
