Race To The Edge

Kristina's introduction.
This is Berk. It's 12 days north of hopeless and a few degrees south of freezing to death. It's located solidly on the Meridian of Misery. My village, in a word? Sturdy. It's been for 7 generations but every single building is NEW. We have fishing, hunting and a charming view of the sunsets. But the problems are the island's pets. Where most places have dogs, horses or cats, we have... DRAGONS!!!
This is my usual introduction. My friend and I always say this and explain that...
I, Kristina Cornwell, am the dragon whisperer. I have a dragon shaped scar on my neck. I can also understand dragons. Yes dragons. This is a talent passed down from my uncle, Drago Bludfist. I hated him. Being an amputee like me, he understood me. This is my story:

I asked my uncle Drago who he has fought and he mentioned: Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, son of Chief Stoick.  
"Who's Hiccup Haddock? A haddock who has hiccups?" I laughed, "Or does he have a name that scares away trolls?"

"I don't know. He's got a prosthetic like you." Drago replied.

"AWESOME!" I exclaimed.

'Another amputee like me!' I had a huge grin wiped across my face.

'He might be cocky, cute... Cute? What am I thinking?!?! I think he's 18 like me.'

"You're imagining about him aren't you?" Drago butted into my thoughts.

"What? Noooo." I lied.

'He must be cute. Quit it Kristina!!'

Hiccup's PoV:
Toothless and I were just flying through Berk. My dad, the chief, told me I had to get married.

"Hiccup, you have to find a wife someday." My dad said to me.

"I CAN GET MARRIED WHEN I WANT TO DAD! I MIGHT WANT TO BE SINGLE!!!!" I exclaimed whilst I hopped off Toothless.

I had my mask on when I shouted so I took it off revealing my brown yet messy hair. In the corner of my forest green eye I saw a young girl with long, light brown hair that was almost the same colour as mine, dark brown eyes that were almost black and she was with two dragons. An Enderfury and... A Night Fury? I thought Toothless was the last of his species!! Her eyes flashed green then went back to their original colour. Then I saw my ex-girlfriend, Astrid. She kept talking about having a small family with baby Vikings and dragons. That's why I harshly dumped her.  I quietly tried to walk over to the girl but my prosthetic kept being noisy so she heard me. Her eyes went blank with confusion. (It's just an expression!)

Kristina's PoV:
I saw a young man with green eyes, messy brown hair, a prosthetic leg and a Night Fury. My prosthetic leg clicked as I walked to the man. He was Hiccup!!! I guess?

"Hey, are you Hiccup Haddock?" I asked.

"Yep. My names Hiccup. Great name I know. Scares the trolls and gnomes. Who are you and who told you that?" He replied confused.

"I'm Kristina Cornwell, I like to go by Lightning. My uncle told me all 'bout you!" I chirped.

"Who is your uncle?" He asked, "I might know him."

"Drago Bludfist." I whispered.

"DRAGO BLUDFIST?!?!" Hiccup exclaimed and woke up my night fury, Raven and Enderfury, Starstream.

When Starstream and Raven woke up they shot plasma shots in purple and black. Females night furies shoot purple, males shoot blue and Enderfuries shoot white or black depending on the colour of their scales. Black Enderfuries shoot white and white ones shoot black. Weird huh?

"Yup. Well Raven, Starstream and I gotta get going. See you and... What's your Night Fury called?"

"His name's Toothless." Hiccup replied to my question.
