As I waved goodbye to the final customers of the evening, I slowly started to pack my things. After such a long week at the art gallery, I looked around. Amazed at all the breathtaking art pieces from different people. It's inspiring to me because I know that one day, one of my pieces could be here. Friday finally came, I was ready for some alone time this weekend.

Although, I still have to catch up on some school work, and paintings I have been requested to do. Painting is where I can express myself, and I've shown that to my audience. Through social media, I've got to showcase my paintings. The more I show my art, the more people ask for personal things for me to paint for them. It's helped pay my bills when I fall short. With school, work and doing paintings on the side, it does get a little stressful. Its nothing I can't handle though.

Walking into my apartment, I hung my keys up, settling in for a moment. I sighed slumping on the couch. Debating on if I wanted to leave my place, or stay here. Tonight, was a homework and study night. Going to Krave coffee shop didn't sound like a bad idea. Hopefully its not to busy, if I go. I headed to my room to find something more comfortable. Since walking there would be my best bet if I went and, it wasn't too far from my place.

As laid my clothes out on the bed, I peeked out the window. Stepping closer towards it, I watched and saw there's not too much going on tonight. Around this time, its usually more people out. Hmph, maybe I will go out for a me time date. Yes, studying and having coffee at seven o'clock at night is considered a me time date. I grab my laptop, notebook, speech book and pack it into my backpack. Once my things were gathered, I freshened up a little in the bathroom. Then, changed my clothes before I headed out.

"There you are. I was looking for you." Mister poked his head out from around the corner, watching me as I got ready. He's such a good cat, and very low maintenance. Only thing is, he likes to be cuddled on his terms, and I can respect that. His name was going to be Sylvester, but I liked Mister better. He is a black and white patchy cat, and he has a white distinct mustache above his mouth. Mister fits him.

He rubbed up against my leg and began to purr. I crouched down to him, "I missed you too buddy. I'll be back soon. I just need some fresh air, ok?" I rubbed and kissed the top of his head before leaving out.

I took a deep breath gazing at sky. I never do anything like this last minute. I don't ever go out walking at night, because of the crowd. Today was one of those days I wanted to get out of the house, for once. Having coffee at seven at night is a must whenever I need to study, and do homework. But, I always make it at home whenever I need to do both.

As I opened the door to Krave, I saw there weren't too many people here. Lucky me.

My job requires me to be around people daily. So when I'm off, I appreciate the peace and quiet. Which, I'm very surprised that I made the decision to get out of the house this late.

I walked into Krave and was greeted by Gia. Who took a double look, since this was a rare sighting of me. Still not sure when we started calling each other on first name basis. Its probably because I'm here almost everyday.

"Hey girl! You're here pretty late." She said smiling.

She was cool with me. And since I was a regular, we had very good conversations when I would come in. I would show up 7:15 am on the dot every morning. She always knew what I wanted.

Smiling I replied, "Yea, I decided I needed some evening coffee."

We laughed together and I could already see her placing my regular order, "Should I get you your usual?"

I thought about it for a moment. With it being Friday and, I didn't have work again until Monday.

I could grab something lighter, "I'll actually take something different."
