• Koda's POV •
I leaned up against the Academy's cold wall. I shut my eyes as I took a drag and let it flare out of my nose. School. I mentally scoffed. I get it. We're this flashy five star academy, with only the wealthiest and most elite, our high school, was basically a collage. No scratch that, it was exactly like a collage.
The campus was extremely large and we had two floors, old and modern all at the same time. The many classrooms were huge and we had every study imaginable there, in fact you even had to major in something. Imagine that, you had to have a major in high school. Sure, this school looked great on our resume, but it was a high school god damn it, not Harvard.
I eyed the girls walking into the building. I mostly eyed freshman because they were of course the easiest. But then again every girl came easy to me. I smirked at a couple and checked them out. To which I gained giggles and winks and blown kisses. I went to inhale my cigarette and closed my eyes once more before I got slapped in the arm and my green eyes snapped open coldly, but as soon as I saw the chuckling faces of my idiotic best friends they softened slightly.
Fernando smirked, his brown hair and chiseled jaw and honeycomb eyes were girls weakness. Not to mention his slight Spanish accent when he spoke. He wore a grey V Neck and a dark jean jacket along with black ripped skinny jeans and a pair of converse. His pink lips were coiled into a smile. Girls were always calling him Papi, so we adopted the name for him as a way to annoy him.
Lance, was known as the rarity of the group. He was light skinned, with a pair of light eyes. He had a septum piercing, some dark stubble outlying his sharp jaw, along his curly black hair, and brown freckles around his cheeks and nose. No lie, this guy was an African American Beauty. He wore some black nikes, light wash skinny jeans, white shirt and beige sweater on top.
Nicolo was the Russian, filthy rich like the lot of us here in this school, but we all knew his family played dirty. Russian mob. Which just made him more popular. He was Dangerous, and that gained him attention of everyone. His eyes were a piercing light blue. Like ice, thick black hair and pale skin. He was the oldest, and obviously most powerful of the group. He felt a need to protect us, that is is we ever needed protection. He wore dark blue tight jeans, black long sleeved shirt, with a leather jacket draped around him.
Embracing them all, and talking about idiotic things as usual, felt good. Nicolo took one of my cigarettes and lit it, didn't bother asking. I shot him a look and he just smiled.
"Nice outfit Lance." Fernando teased, younger stuck between teeth, only joking though, we all knew we dressed exceptionally well for guys. But then again that's what you get when you got rich parents."Your mom dressed me this morning." Lance shot back making a smug look. Fernando playfully lunged at him, and we all laughed.
We soon were all up against the wall checking out the girls together. Going through what we'd already had a piece of. Which was mostly everything.
But something caught my eye.
A girl.
With a beautiful smile, walking around hugging and waving at everyone.
She must be popular then.
But how?
She was so pretty I'm positive I would have seen her before."Chloe!" I heard a group of fashionable and pretty girls shout at her, and she scrambled up to them embracing one after one.
I eyed her body.
No there's no way I would have missed, that."Chloe.." I breathed, still watching her.
The bell rang interpreting my thoughts and everyone scurried to class, my friends and o walked sluggishly examining out schedules.
"Ughhhh" I heard Lance groaned. "I have Garnik again." He grimaced at the sound of the Algebra 1 teacher.
I chuckled, "Mmm someone failed Algebra 1, again?" I teased him, he punched me in the gut and I moaned in pain.
"Shut up! We can't all be extremely smart like you. Which by the way, is a dumb thing to hide and not share a little knowledge with your buddies." Lance replied.
"I'm not smart." I grumbled at him.
He just smirked, his gold septum ring shining.
"Don't worry Lance, I know a guy who can get you though Algebra, like that." Nicollo snapped with his arm draped around Lance's shoulder.
Lance nodded as if approving, "See That's a real friend." Lance Said sarcastically.I chucked my cigarette at him and he caught it taking a puff smirking like an idiot.
Stupid Lance and his stupid fast reflexes.
"Don't worry baby I still love you." Fernando teases as he went to kiss my cheek, I shoved his face with the palm of my hand.
The boys laughed, and we headed off to put classes already causing trouble at 7:08 am.
Chloe's POV
I giggled mercilessly as my friends gossiped and complained. We were outside the academy building. Giggling and Chatting away. It gave me time to really soak in how amazing they all were.
Blair, her short dirty blonde hair and was tucked behind her ears exposing her many ear piercings, I myself had some piercings but not as many as her, but they went gothic or emo. They were simple light and airy just like her. Her freckles made her small green eyes sparkle. She had the cutest petite body and long legs. She often complained that she wanted curves and was too thin but I thought she was perfect. Everyone thought so too.
She wore a yellow sun dress which was short, along with an oversized jean jacket. With brown booties. She was the gossiper.Mer, my beauty with the long red hair and bluest of eyes, was very tall but not too tall. She was a rarity. She was truly the most girlish of us all. Always in baby blues or pinks. Skirts and Lace. She was the sweetest thing, her red hair was propped up in a bun today and she wore a grey white collard T-shirt with some high waisted white skinny jeans. Her Jean backpack propped around her shoulder. She was the sweet one.
Veronica, dark hair long hair, dark almond eyes. Her curvy body was always dressed in tight clothes that showed off her body in the best way. She was sassy and outspoken the biggest party animal. She wants to be messed with, and we loved her for that. She had a heart shaped face, and always had the best makeup.
Today she wore a nude crop top, with tight black jeans, along with a leather jacket and black boots. She was the feisty one.All in all the four of us were great for each other. Though we were known for being "popular" , that did not make us mean. In fact I loved just about everybody.
"Gosh I've missed you guys!" I squealed and we all embraced giggling.
After that we met up with the boys and other friends of ours until the bell rang. Where we all sighed as we realized school had officially began and we went our separate ways, waking together until we could no longer go the same way.
And Yet I couldn't help but feel as if someone's eyes were on me . . .
