"I thought, I thought we had a connection." The sentence I kept saying in my head as soon as we left the intervention. It was 10 am, Jess, Mike, Emily, Ashley, Chris, Matt, we were all exhausted. We all looked like shit, head to toe, these past hours they all seem a blur now.
"Hey how about we all go to a hotel, check in and wash up and stay there for the night?" Chris proclaimed.
"Sounds like an amazing idea!" Emily said.
"Yeah how about it Sam!...Sam?" I was silent, there were no words out of me, all I kept thinking about was Josh. I didn't know if he was alive, or dead or worse... Something told me thou, he was okay but wanted something, needed something. He was crying out. The connection existed, that was the connection.
