When Night Comes

Chapter 2.

I sighed in relief, I had finally finished! My room looks good i put all my clothes in my closet, I put my desk in the corner my , rug right next to my bed, my TV on top of a dresser i had, and my laptop on the desk.

The photo of me and John I put it in the very last drawer where nobody could find it. I was just laying down on my bed looking up at the celling  basically waiting for mom to come it's been about 2 hours since dad told me to start doing my room.

I was wondering why it was taking her so long, I sigh then get up and walk to my desk and sit in my rolling chair and turned on my laptop. The first thing I went to was Skype. I wanted to tell my best friend I was here, but the thing is my friend is a guy.

His name is Ash he's full name is Astro and I always tease him with the name Astro Boy because there was a show called that and I used to see it when I was really little.

He met me during Chemistry class cause we had to do a group project but the rest of our group members said they were 'Sick' but, they were caught doing weed on the roof top so they got expelled. That left me and Ash alone to do it.

It was honestly awkward at first not gonna lie to you but, he was very shy until I spoke to him. Then we actually had a lot of things in common we both liked to see anime, go take walks on free times, and we both enjoyed to go see scary movies at the movie theater alone.

Once Ash met John they automatically became friends like on the dot, of course when John passed away Ash was really depressed like I was but, we have each other so I'm really happy to have Ash.

I looked on the screen.
Connecting...

I sighed to myself, I couldn't wait to see Ash I could already see myself smiling.

"Hello?" It showed josh putting away his guitar in the corner then coming back to the computer.
"Hey Ash." I said smiling and waving at the same time, a smile appeared on his lips.

"Well, if it isn't my Best friend? Nice to see you Layla, you get there safely?" He asked.
I rolled my eyes at that question. " if I didn't get here safely how would I be able to call you?"

"Right..." He said putting his face in his palm while blushing.
"Anyway... How's the place? You get the biggest room or something?" He asked trying to change the subject.

" Damn, I wish I did think of that though I almost broke the floor too." I said
"You what? Oh my god what did your dad say?" He said trying to hold back a laugh I could tell.

" He said if I broke the floor I'm fixing it."
He let that laugh out that he was holding in.
"You? Fix the floor? Hysterical!" He laughed while holding he's stomach.

I rolled my eyes and smiled " I could try..."
That only made him laugh even more.

" Well, that's something to get a look at. Anyway do you wanna hear a song I made up on the guitar?" He asked getting up and looking eager to grab the guitar in the corner.

"Sure why not?"
He got up and raced to his guitar and sat back down on his bed " This song is called ' hold back the tears'" he explained. " Alright let's hear it." I said while smiling. He then played the guitar PERFECTLY this song reminded me of John, not gonna lie.

I didn't notice until he stopped playing and looked at me with a sympathetic look. " Layla you alright your... Crying.." He said putting the guitar down.

" I'm crying?" I thought to myself. I then tasted salt " Oh, oops sorry, I didn't mean to cry it's just you played it really good and all and... It reminded me of John.." I said trying to smile but knowing my smile is dying and I there was wiping tears.

Ash put a smile on his face but it died out he looked sad " Are you alright?" He sighs " maybe I shouldn't have played the song, I'm really sorry Layla.." He said putting the guitar away.

"No! Your alright I'm sorry I shouldn't have cried you did wonderful like I ADORE you when I hear you play that guitar." I said

Ash then had looked happier than ever and smiled all of a sudden you hear " ASTRO!! COME DOWN HERE I NEED YOU TO GO TO THE STORE REALLY QUICKLY AND DONT MAKE ME WAIT!!!".

I know that voice from anywhere it was his mother and let me just say she was a freaking hilarious mother.
Ash groaned in embarrassment " Hey I got to go see you later?" He asked scratching the back of his head.
"Sure and Ash don't worry about me and right now I was honestly fine I promise."

Ash smiled then said one last goodbye and logged off.
