I was sitting in the car with my grandmother in the drivers seat, just after she had picked me up from school. She looks over at me and says, "You are a failure."
Think about that.
What would you do if the person who has practically been your mother looked at you and just said, "you're a failure"? I've been having a hard time in school, and I have been having trouble keeping track of work and turning things in. But that is not a reason to tell someone you love that you think they are a failure.
"You're crap."
"You know I love you, but......"
"You are going nowhere in life."
"You're as good as worthless."
"Why don't you try?!"
"That same excuse is bullshit. I won't take it."
"What is your problem?"These aren't things you expect to hear from your mother.
...but I did.
