The blood was rushing to your head as you hanged aimlessly over the edge of Karkat's couch. You stayed over for a movie night with your buddy, because you both had been dying to see the new Will Smith movie. Now it was ten in the afternoon, you are tired, and you watched as the clean freak troll eagerly wiped away at the floor with his broom. For the millionth time that day he seemed to look up and glare at you, a glare that said 'You moronic asswipe, come help me clean this dirt pile.' You didn't understand Karkat's infatuation with cleanliness, but you weren't going to question it. A few boring minutes passed, Karkat was still sweeping, he looked up at you again and this time he had enough. "[NAME]!! Get off your lazy ass and help me clean!" he shouted at you. You shrugged from your upside down position, which made your head tingle due to all the blood rushing to it. "Not my house brosif." He grinded his teeth in pure annoyance. "I will hit you with the sweeping stick!" You chuckled as he lifted the broom in aggression. "Looking forward to it." You didn't expect him to, until he marched up to the couch and whapped you on the side of the cheek with the broom. "WOAH HEY!" You exclaimed as you rolled to get away from Karkat's dusty fury.

He chassed you around, hitting you over the head, or on the sides until you couldn't handle it. "FINE I'LL CLEAN!" You said raising your hands in surrender. One last swat with the broom to the stomach and Karkat stopped, "Good, now go fill the sink with water, you're going to mop." You grumbled as you rolled up your sleeves and head over to the kitchen sink, filling it with soapy water. You turn to ask Karkat where the mop was and meet a pole being shoved in your direction. You take the cleaning implement from him and dunk the head in the water, wring it out, and mop the areas Karkat had already swept. This process repeated until it seemed as though the floor sparkled, but no you weren't done yet. You drained the sink again, filling once more with water and this time a waxing chemical. You took the mob again and dunked it in, repeating the pervious task. Finally you were done with the mopping; you drained the sink again and rinse it out. Karkat was putting away some folded clothes, his usual long sleeved shirt rolled up past his elbows, a serious yet calm face plastered on as he worked. You began to gather the dishes from the living room where you and Karkat had your sleep over movie night. You placed the plates, bowls and cups into the sink and begin yet another bat of water, your fingers are starting to look more like raisins than the appendages you are use to seeing.

You scrubbed at the dishes, getting any spec of food that may try to stick. Karkat came up with a cloth in hand and offers to dry. Dish after dish you cleaned, boredom creeping up on you as every second passed. You snuck a glance at Karkat, obviously too engrossed in his dish drying to notice the smirk on your face. You reached your hand down and scooped up a large handful of bubbles and slamming them into Karkat's face. He flipped for a fraction of a second before staring you dead on as you tried not to burst out laughing at his angry expression. His hand dived into the dishwater and splashed it into your face; a look of shock flashes your face as Karkat gave a smug grin. You returned the mischievous glare and prepare your attack. Water flies this way and that, soaking both of you, along with the newly waxed floor. With all the water, it was hard to keep your traction, you go for another attack but end up slipping, landing straight on Karkat, crashing you both to the floor. Karkat took the blunt of the fall and you sprawled on top of him, clinging to his arms for dear life, your chests pressed together and your face nearly inches apart. You stayed there, starring awkwardly at the other, until you broke the silence. You bursted out laughing, rolling off of Karkat and on to the wet floor clutching your sides as laughs poor from your mouth. Karkat looked confused and flustered as you had your giggle fit until he found himself chuckling as well, but only because of how adorable you looked. You got up and offered a hand to Karkat, who graciously took it. "Alright, this was my mess, get me a towel, I'll clean it up." You said. He nodded and went off to the hall closet, bringing back a towel and tossing it to you. You went down on your hands and knees and began to wipe away the water.
