Chapter 3- Welcoming friends
"Would you like to see inside my house?" I ask Tahlia.
"Sure" she replys as we head for my front porch. I knock on the door and my mum answers. "Hey Alyssa, who's this? Oh is this your new friend?" Mum asks.
"Mum this is Tahlia. Do you know how you make fun of me cause of Ethan, well that's his sister." I reply. Mums can be so weird you know.
"Mum in just going to show her my room then we're going to her place which is next door."
"Ok sweetie have fun."
"Sorry about my mum." I say to Tahlia. "Nah it's good, I know how you feel." She replys. We walk into the living room where my brother James is sitting playing a video game.
"James this is my friend Tahlia!" I beam. Instead of giving me a response he shoots up the rude finger and gets back to his video game, what a dick.
We walk up the stairs to my room. The first time I climbed these were last night. "Sorry about that my brother can be such a dick!" I tell Tahlia, she looks at me like she's gone through that with Ethan. We make it to my room, a big room with a bed and lots of boxes. She looks at the window.
