The staggering light hit my eye with such a force that I had to shield my eye. Whilst I was preoccupied with my eye and them internally burning, a door opened from the other side of the room. With the door open I could hear footsteps slowly coming over to where I was, and I immediately became scared. You see, I do not have a foggiest idea as of where I am. I was simply walking to school, like any other day when a car drove beside me and stopped. I immediately became scared ( why I am always scare I do not know, it must be in my genes). As i walked past the car, the window to the back seat lowered and a woman's face appeared. That's was the last thing I saw before I was rudely awaken from my much needed slumber.

As my eyes became adjusted to the bright light, I realised that the same women from the back seat of the car was staring at me intently. I was slowly becoming uncomfortable with her constant gaze upon me. I tried not to look at her, so I took in my surroundings. It was a basic interrogation room that looked like it came out of Law and Order. I heard a small laughter coming from the women mouth, my gaze finally rested upon her. I thought I said that in my head ,obviously not.

"You are correct in what you said, it does look like an interrogation room from Law and Order" said the lady who sat across from me. When I didn't answer, she continued to talk.

"Why did you look around the room?" she asked as if it was the first time this had happen.

"Simply because I felt very violated and claustrophobic by your gaze" I simply stated. Once again a laugh slipped from the woman's mouth.

"I can see this is going to be very entertaining" she said the laughter still evident in her voice. The lady went under the desk to get something from her bag. She must have brought it with when she walked in. As she was doing so, i had time to take in her features. An elderly lady, but not to old to be my grandmother. She obviously dyed her hair, because she desperately needed to get her roots done. Her outfit would be considered formal wear with a modern twist. By the time I had finished analysing the women, she had also finished looking in her bag. What she pulled out of her bag was 10 files, one of the files were considerably larger than the other 9. The lady opened the first file and began to read out loud.

"Name: Isabella Stephenie Leewana

Age; 16

Nationality: Australian

Lives; Adelaide, South Australia

Occupation: Student

Element; Air." With the Lady finished, she looked over at me to see if I had any question.

"Firstly, what is your name and how in hell do you know that about me and secondly what do you mean by element: air" I asked leaning forward, intrigued in what her answer would be.

"My name is Professor Minerva and I know this information because I am the principle of the School of Minerva. Before you ask, no the school is not named after myself more the other way around. Minerva is the Roman goddess of Wisdom, and we believe that every person who holds an element should use it with wisdom. In answer to your other question there are 10 known elements in the world that humans can control. These 10 element are Earth, Fire,Water,Darkness,Electricity/Lightning, Energy, Ice, Weather and your element Air/Wind. In conjunction to the next question you must be thinking, you were born with the ability to manipulate air .How you might ask, well that is for to find out at school." Before I could get a word in Professor Minerva continued to speak once again looking down at the file.

"At School of Minerva you will take part in classes. The classes that you must pass are

Elemental 101 taught by professor Cage

Physics taught by professor Dalton

Chemistry taught by professor East

Elemental Control taught by professor Iver

Physical Education taught by professor Sun-Hee

Politics taught by professor Hunter

English taught by professor Verbeck

and a language of your choice from the list. Your choices are Latin, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, French, Italian, German, Spanish or Polish" she finished looking up at me. It was obvious she wanted me to decide now.

"ummm, Russian?" I asked, not really sure if i really wanted to or not. Professor Minerva looked up from the file, looked me over and nodded.

"As well as normal classes you must undertake at least three different after school activities, you may choose from History, Art, Drama, Music, Dance, Swimming, Football (Soccer), Volleyball, Archery, IT, Photography and Home Economics" Once again she stopped obviously wanting to make my decision at that precise moment. Once again I didn't know what i wanted to , that is when Professor Minerva spoke again.

"From your school reports I would suggest Archery, Dance and Football. You of course don't have it is just a suggestion". I thought about it for a little bit of time. I did really like sports and i was known for my skills in football. I gave a nod to professor Minerva to say that i agreed.

"Okay now that the hard bit is out ,i should tell you why you are here" she looked at, expecting me to exploded. Knowing that is what she wanted, I simply nodded in agreeance. She was quite taken back by this, but masked it quite quickly.

"You are here because i want you to be the leader of a group of 9 other individuals that possess the other 9 elements..." Before she could continue i cut in

"I cannot be a leader, i can't even get house captain or SRC so how in hell am i to lead a group supernatural teenager?" I asked telling the truth. How the hell am I meant to lead to the next generation of X-Man when I can't convince my year level to vote for me. I kept looking at Professor Minerva, hoping for an answer.

"Well, you must find a way to do so. Your team is made up of the leftovers, the outcast as you might call it. But do not think they are not powerful. At Minerva each group has a teacher assigned to them. No teacher wanted your group, so i took you under my wing. Here are the file of your fellow team members and you will see why your group is the most powerful but also the outcasts" and with the Professor Minerva walked out, leaving me to look upon the files of my team. Great.
