"Yes, I'd made it on time! I saw her again." The pink headed male rushed to the subway that day, he was still panting so hard but it was visible on his face that he was indeed in rapture when he saw her sitting alone in the near by bench.
Everyday, he always watch her from afar, adoring her since the first time he saw her. He saw how the blonde sighed exasperatedly as she looked on her watch, probably to check what time it is already.
He smiled to himself, she was Lucy Heartfilia the girl he had a crush since he turned grade six, she was just on her fourth grade that time but he couldn't help but feel like he had fallen her.
But sadly, the blonde doesn't knew his existence, after all he was just a no body who simply adore her from afar, one of the million guys who likes her.
But he didn't like her because he knew that she was a Heartfilia, beautiful, smart or all other good things she has, he likes her for being so kind and for being so down to earth.
After seven years, Natsu Dragneel had muster all his courage and walk near her, there is no way that he'll go home without talking to her, but as he close the gap between them, it was as if all his courage drained in each step he took and he couldn't do but just sat beside her. Closing his eyes so that he wouldn't feel nervous than he already is, he felt contented just sitting beside her.
He could get used to it, but since the time is ticking, his fairy tale ended when the announcer announced that the subway she always use is already there. He felt her stood up, and in an instant, Natsu opened his eyes he doesn't know why but it was as of his feet has its own mind and walk inside the train when in fact it wasn't the train he was supposed to get into. Heck, he doesn't even use trains! He just went there to see her.
Natsu looked on the bright side of the picture, at least he'll get the chance to know where she lives, and at the same time it's like he was walking-- or was it walking?--- her home, he'll just go back to get his car when she got off the train.

He was greatly astound to see Loke Heartfilia on the court where they were supposed to practice for their school's tournament. He was Lucy's elder brother, and it surely surprised him. It was a small world indeed.
After their practice, he quickly went to the subway station to see if Lucy Heartfilia was there, and he felt like the whole world crushed to him to found no one on the bench. Looking on his G-Shock watch, he smiled bittersweet when he saw that it was already 6:30 in the evening, that day he left the subway like he lost a million dollar bet.
It was the same for the whole week and he almost cursed that stupid practice because each time they finished the practice, it was already late and there is no way that she was still inside that station, but even though, Natsu would still go check her inside before going home.
Saturday comes, the tournament between their school and north west's about to happen, but he was having second thoughts if he'll go or not, he wasn't inspired the whole week because he didn't saw Lucy Heartfilia. But in the end he ended up going because it was their school's name he's talking about.
"...I"m sorry I'm late!" He yelled when the announcer was about to forfeit them, he was still breathing so hard when he heard her familiar voice rang all over the four corner of the court, "It's him!"
Natsu instantly looked up and saw her inside, his heart beat so loud that he was afraid that all of the people inside the court would hear his heart trumping so fast. Even though she was so far from him, he knew that she was the one she's looking and pointing at... Or was it the one he was expecting?
Loke Heartfilia waved his hand to her, and Lucy... Well she looked over her friends and told them that he was her brother.
He did his very best to the game because he wanted Lucy to notice him, but would she? He was certain that her eyes were locked on her brother, because he was the reason why she came right? But if there's a chance... Would she look at him?
The game ended with Fairy University as the winner, people left the court one by one and the only people that is left was the whole team and her group of friends. They went to congratulate his brother, he wanted to walk near her, to thank her for coming, but later drop that thought, who is he kidding? She was there for her brother!
But when she turned and caught a glimpse of him, he was caught off guard because she saw him looking at her! To cover up the embarrassment he's feeling, Natsu Dragneel smiled and waved his hand to her. He doesn't know, but was it a mirage he saw when a reddish color spread on her cheek?

Their whole team decided to celebrate their victory first by after they ate in the near by fast food chain, they bid their own farewells. Natsu Dragneel on the other hand went inside the subway station, the smile on his lips faded when he didn't saw her, why would he expect to see her? It's not that she'll go to the station that day, she has her brother all along, Loke Heartfilia could drive for her. He sighed he left that station again without the hope of seeing her, he didn't know that if he had waited for a minute or two, he'll be able to see her again.
