Sleepyhead

Prompt: Person A knowing that Person B does cute things only when A is asleep (plays with their hair, gives forehead kisses, tracing their lips, gentle snuggling, draws them, etc). One day Person A pretends to be asleep, but ends up being unable to hold back a smile as Person B begins displaying their rare affection.

I knew Edward liked to hold me when I was asleep, but I didn't really know he did other adorable things until recently.
So one morning, after I woke up, I decided to keep my eyes shut and pretend I was asleep to catch him doing stuff.

So I lay there as he held me against his chest with his strong arms as he lay on his back and I lay my head on his chest, and I heard him chuckle.
"Bella..." He whispered,
I pretended to sleep, rolling over in his arms.
I felt something cold touch the top of my head- his lips???
Then he gently stroked my face, tracing the outline of my lips, I couldn't help but smile, then he paused.
"Bella I know you're awake." He chuckled
Caught, I stretched, hoping he'd think I was just waking up.
"Bella if you wanted a little bit of stroking and petting and kisses you could have just asked." He teased as he lowered his head to kiss me.
