"So what are you going to do?" they had moved into Jackson's room and were laying across opposite ends of the bed. Jackson horizontal and Danny vertical. They had been talking about lacrosse and had managed to slip back into conversation about Jackson's gayness for Stiles.
"I have no idea" Jackson sighed, he stared up at the ceiling for a long while until he had an idea, he turned his body in its side and looked at Danny "Your gay, right?" Danny looked at Jackson with a look that read no shit. "Tell me what to do. How do I get Stilinski to like me?"
"Are you serious?"
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Jackson looked at him confused.
"Because Lydia-"
"We broke up, so she doesn't matter anymore" Jackson argued.
"I meant her and Stilinski, now that your out of the picture and he has magically gotten better at lacrosse you might have some competition." Danny informed him.
Jackson broke out in laughter, laughing hard enough to have his stomach cramp. He settled down after a couple minutes and wiped away fake tears before looking at Danny "That's funny because last I remembered Stilinski was at the bottom of the high school social ranks and Lydia wanted nothing to do with him."
Danny bit his lip and rolled his head to one side and back as if to say wellll... "If you haven't noticed, after the last game, Stilinski has climbed a little higher in the ranks, obviously since he had gained some attention from Lydia"
Jackson threw himself back into the bed sheets as realization sunk in "Danny what am I going to do?!"
"Not Stiles, if Lydia has anything to do with it" Danny statement earned a glare from Jackson.
"Seriously, man. You gotta help me." Jackson groaned rolling over onto his stomach to hide his face in the bedsheets, letting out a long pitiful groan.
"Alright, alright" Danny propped himself up on his elbows "Maybe you could try being nice to him for a change"
"I'm nice to him" Jackson protested.
"Whipping him with a towel in the locker room is not what most people consider nice" Danny defended. Jackson rolled his eyes. Well maybe I enjoy it. Danny mocked Jackson eyeroll. "You could start Monday by 'saying good' morning or 'hey Stiles', instead of 'Move it dipshit' or 'Stilinski'." Danny offered even though Jackson contemplated these ideas quietly "People like to be addressed by their name in most conversations, not nicknames."
"Okay, I could do that" Jackson looked at Danny. He finally sat up and walked over to his wardrobe "Lets get out of here and do something other than lay in my bed and discuss my gayness" he pulled out a pair of light blue jeans and a gray t-shirt slipping them on in front of Danny because he knew his best friend wouldn't care.
Danny stood up and stretched his arms up into the air "So where are we going then?" he asked as he slipped his shoes on.
"I was thinking we could go dancing" Jackson pulled on his leather jacket glancing at Danny "You know any good dance spots" Danny just raised an eyebrow.
"You can't be serious"
"Oh but I am Dannyboy, you know you want to anyway, find yourself a piece of hot ass while we are there" he chuckles as he slipped on some shoes and made for the door calling for Danny to follow. Danny just sighed and followed almost unwillingly, this was a terrible idea. Jackson walked down the stairs whistling and singing "We're goin' to the Jungle, the Jungle" in some made up tune.
"I'm already regretting this" Danny mumbles, following his best friend out the door.
