Sapphire's POV
"Stella I'm home!" I called down the hallway of our small two room apartment as I shut the door behind me. I walked to our small kitchen and set down the loaded grocery bags on the counter. There was a note on the fridge. Saph, it read, I went uptown to visit my parents for the day. Don't worry about me, I"ll be home in a couple of hours. Luv Ya, Stella.
"Okay then, " I said to myself, "what do we do now?" I glanced out of the window and up at the cloudy sky. "Well, it'll rain soon so taking a walk is out of the question. " 'Hmm...I guess I'll put away the groceries and then I'll play with Jingles' I thought as the grey Rag doll kitten wandered around the corner. I leaned down to scratch between her ears, then stood up and started to transfer the food from the bags and into the pantry.

Stella's POV
"Thanks for visiting us darling." my mother said, waving to me. I got into my black BMW and waved back. Then I pulled out of the lit driveway and onto the dark street.
Half an hour later, I was greeted by Saph and Jingles. "Hey guys." I said exhausted. "We were just going to watch The Titanic, wanna join?" Saph exclaimed. I looked at her wide-eyed. "Saph, I'm so tired. Can it wait until tomorrow?" I asked. She nodded and turned our old TV off.
The next morning I couldn't seem to get out of bed. Saph had gone to school to take some test, so I was home alone. Great. I rolled out of bed and went to the living room. I dropped my body onto the couch and grabbed the remote. Moments later, there was a knock on the door.
