“I don’t think this is a good idea…”
“Of course it’s a good idea! Just keep following me.”
“Whatever…”
The night was chilled, and pitch black. I had no idea where I was going, but I didn’t have such a good feeling. Ugh.. why can’t I just trust him? I just need to.. ignore this feeling and follow him. I mean, it’s not like he would put me in danger, right? “Are we almost there? I’m tired of walking…” I whined. “You sound like a little kid, and we’re already here.” He said. “And.. where is ‘here’ exactly?” I asked. I felt a pinch in my arm. My head started hurting, and it was hard to stand. “M-Michael?” I asked faintly, about to pass out. The last thing I saw was his face with an apologetic look.
I woke up, thinking it was all a dream. My head was slightly hurting as I held my hand up to it. I looked around, expecting to see my bedroom. Instead, I saw a dark room with old looking furniture. I was still wearing my clothes from the past night. I got up, my head throbbing, and walked over to the dresser I saw. It probably didn’t have any clothes my size, but it wouldn’t hurt to look. I opened the top drawer finding shirts and tank tops that looked like my size. I grabbed a lime green shirt and blue tank top, then grabbed dark jeans in the next drawer. I found shoes, socks, and everything else in the closet. In the bathroom, I found towels to take a shower with. I stepped in the shower, letting the hot water hit my back, and soon my headache went away. I stepped out of the shower and got dressed. Finding no makeup or brush, I stepped out of the bathroom and walked over to the bed, trying to untangle my hair with my hands. There was a faint knock on the door, and a woman looking like she was in her early 20’s stepped into the room.
“Um.. where am I at?” I asked. “Your new home..” she said and set down a tray of food. She started walking out of the room, but stopped at the door. “Someone will assist you to the dining hall soon, so hurry and eat.” She said. “Ok... umm.. bye?” I said, feeling slightly awkward and confused. With that, she walked out of the room, leaving me alone in this strange place.
