Twilight: Edward Mason

I woke up and smelt of mom...cooking? my mom never cooks unless she has either good or bad news I ran downstairs almost tripping and falling down the stairs

"Edward Mason what have I told you no running down the stairs"

"sorry mom. what's all of this about?" even though I knew it was going to be some kind of news.

"Well me and your father were talking and we thought maybe you would like to live up there in Forks with him for a while"

"mom are you trying to get rid of me? you know how dad is...he's dad!"

"Well we already bought your ticket and your going."

"okay when do I start packing?"

"this weekend."

"this weekend? that means I'll be arriving in the middle of the semester." I'm going to be so lost and look stupid in all my classes. Why? why? are they doing this to me? Well at least I can for see my buddy Jacob I've know him forever. Our dad's knew each other for a long time to. my dad is the chief of police and my mom is an author. My mom and him divorced when I was a baby.

BELLA'S POV

I was talking with Alice when when she had a vision.

"Alice what did you see?" I asked very curiously.

"there's just a new boy coming to our school his name is Edward Anthony Mason." I nodded at her. she was smiling at me

"is that ALL you saw?" she nodded at me still smiling. I didn't even bother because I was dealing with Alice here. i went hunting and that was pretty much for the night. I then noticed everyone looking at me weirdly

"what are you all looking at!" they all turned around. when me and Esme were alone (and i checked)

"Esme? why was everyone looking at me like really weirdly when I got back from hunting" I asked eager to find out why

"it's nothing dear.".I knew she was lying so I went to my room and locked the door so no one will walk in while I was trying concentrate on what the hell was going on earlier.

EDWARD'S POV

The plane ride was nice and quiet. my dad picked me up in Seattle with his police car. It was very awkward because we haven't talk to each other in so long.

"so you doing any sports yet."

"yea I was doing baseball back in Phoenix." he nods his head. we got to the house there was a 1964 Pontiac GTO.

when we got out of the car a truck appeared it was the Blacks

"hey Jacob!" he got out of the car and help his dad out.

"hey what's up!" he yelled

"so how do you like your present." my dad said.

"the car?" I said with my eyes almost popping out of my skull. my dad nodded.

"I got it from Billy here." I wanted to take it for a test drive so I opened the door Jake was already on the other side of the car.

"I rebuilt the engine for you." I looked at him

"dude why? I wanted to do that." we took it out for a test drive it was good on miles and on gas. It drove super well. we got back and Billy and my dad were watching the football game Jake stayed and watched it. They left shortly after. I told my dad I was going to bed early since it was my first day at my new school tomorrow.

I got to school in my new car. I parked close to the school so I can get my class schedule and try to find my classes. Then someone came up to me.

"hey! you must the new kid Edward right?" he asked he was very short. well I guess it looked like that to me since I was really tall. I asked him were my first class was it was my math class with Mr. Pauseley. Lucky he wasn't very strict I sat by myself so could catch up with his work.
