Scarlett's POV

I was driving my brand new, red Jeep Range Rover, to the mall to see my friends. "I can't wait to buy that new prom dress from David's Bridal." I was listening to the radio when I heard Hotline Bling come on.

You used to call me on my
You used to, you used to
Yeah
You used to call me on my cell phone
Late night when you need my love
Call me on my cell phone
Late night when you need my love
And I know when that hotline bling
That can only mean one thing
I know when that hotline bling
That can only mean one thing
Ever since I left the city,
You got a reputation for yourself now
Everybody knows and I feel left out
Girl you got me down, you got me stressed out
'Cause ever since I left the city,
you started wearing less and goin' out more
Glasses of champagne out on the dance floor
Hangin' with some girls I've never seen before
You used to call me on my cell phone
Late night when you need my love
Call me on my cell phone
Late night when you need my love

My phone began to ring. Thanks to my Bluetooth that I had in my car, I told proudly told my car, "Dante, answer phone." "Hey Scarlett," Destiny said. "Where are you right now? David's Bridal is like the busiest store here. I'm telling you if don't hurry, you can good-bye to your prom dress and say hello to your mom's wedding dress." I was laughing so hard at Destiny's joke, that I began to cough. "Damn girl, you almost made me choke. But, anyway, I'll be there in...5 minutes. As soon as I turn down this street, I will be driving up towards the mall." I could hear Destiny cursing out girls in the background. She was like, "Move bitch, get out my way!', "Step on my shoes again, and I will cut you.", and "Bitch, what did you say about my outfit?!?!" I couldn't do anything but laugh at what was happening. "Dante, hang up the phone." I turned the street of Elmer's Blvd and Radovan Way. I grabbed my purse, keys, and especially, my phone. I ran into the mall and headed straight for David's Bridal. "Hey Destiny, I'm here." When I walked into the store, I saw women fighting, cursing each other out, and Destiny was beating a woman to death. "Destiny, what the fuck are doing?!?!" I pulled Destiny off of the woman, but when I looked down I saw that this woman was...Lola!! I bent over to pick her up off the floor, "Lola, are you okay? Come on Lola, answer me!!" I ran up to Destiny and slapped her. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, DESTINY?!?! Why would hurt her?!?! What did she ever do to you?!?!" All of a sudden, Destiny looked at me, gave me her phone and fell to the floor. I looked down at my hand and read the messages. My eyes widen, the messages between Destiny and Lola was that...Destiny was trying to protect me!!

Lola told Destiny that she was jealous that Destiny hooked me up with her ex-boyfriend, Jason. Lola and Jason have been going out with each other for 1 year. One day, Lola and Jason's relationship went downhill. The love that they had for each other had faded. It took 6 months for Jason to forget about Lola. Destiny began to talk to Jason about meeting someone new and Jason went along with it. She introduced the both of us, we were happy with each other. Jason and I had been going out for 5 years now and I'm proud of it. Lola overheard me and my friends talking about going to the mall this weekend and buying our prom dresses. Lola came down to the mall to...to...to kill me!! I quickly dialed 911. "911? Please I need your help! My friend, she's been stabbed or shot! But please hurry!!" I held Destiny in my arms and cried. "Why didn't you tell me something? I'm so sorry that I hit you! Please Destiny stay with me!! Don't leave me all alone!" My friendship with Destiny was no joke. Destiny was practically my sister because when my mother abandoned me, her parents took me in and raised me. Destiny and I have had each other's backs like, forever. No matter, what the fuck was going on it involved both of us, even if it involved only one of us. I brushed Destiny's hair out of her face and rubbed her cheeks. Her eyes opened and she smiled at me. She rose her hand up to my face and said, "Please stop crying, Scarlett. You're making me look so fucking uncool right now." I had tears running down my face and giggled at her comment. "I'm so sorry I hit you. I-I just didn't know. I-I just...I'm sorry." She smiled at me. "Stop being such a big fucking baby, I forgive you. Just stop being so stubborn, okay?" "Okay," I said. Destiny smiled. "Good," she said. I felt her hand fall from face and her eyes closed. "Destiny?!?! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! No, no, no!! Don't leave me!! Please!!! Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" I could never love anyone else other than my big sister, Destiny.
