It was the next morning and Isaac went into the living room to check up on Brianna. She was curled up on the couch in a semi-fortress of pillows. Isaac left her to sleep in peace, he went over to the kitchen and just simply made toast for himself for his breakfast. When he turned around Brianna was sitting on a chair in his kitchen looking at the toast, "Wai- Wha-? I just saw you asleep just a little while ago. How'd you-? Since when do you walk so well?! Never mind." Brianna took the piece of toast out of Isaac's hand and ran back to the living room laughing and eating the toast in the pillow fortress she made. "Hey! That was mi- Oh forget it. What am I to do with her. So help me, Amy better have an idea or plan or something to do with her." Isaac made one last piece of toast for himself and looked around to make sure Brianna wasn't there to steal it again. She was still in her pillow fort thankfully. Isaac had finished breakfast and he assumed Brianna had finished the food she stole as well, two minutes later there was a knock on the door. Isaac went over to answer and to no surprise Amy was back again to help as she had promised. "To what do I owe this lovely surprise visit?" He smirks at her.
"Isaac, you have five seconds to wipe that look off your face before I punch you in the gut and walk off and regret ever coming here to help you." She tells him with the most serious face ever meaning she's not in the mood to joke. Isaac immediately wipes off the smirk he had on his face and stepped aside and let Amy walk inside, she had her laptop bag with her this time so she had most of her set for researching.
"What, can't I joke from time to time?"
"Yes, except now is not that time."
"And that would be because?...."
"Because Sean and Jared are now catching on, took them long enough but still. They dismissed me this morning and said I had the day off." Amy said as they walked towards the living room.
"That's great!"
"No, it's not!"
"Why?"
"Because that means they're going to start planning on putting trackers on me and see where I run off to. And I don't want it to have to come to that for multiple reasons." Amy sees the pillow fort and points over to it, "Uh...?"
"Don't ask..."
"Okay then..." Amy takes off the roof pillow and finds Brianna shading her eyes from the light of day. "Well good morning to you." Brianna tries to reach for the pillow that Amy keeps holding above her head, "Oh, which reminds me." Amy takes out from her laptop bag a black skirt and a loose black and white blouse and drops them on top of Brianna's fortress, "I'm sure this'll fit you, it's the only thing in my closet that I don't want and think will fit you. So you can head off to the bathroom and change." Brianna stared at the clothes Amy gave her then at her rags, she pointed to her clothes, "Yes, you change out of those into what I just gave you." Brianna takes the clothes and walks off.
"You sure she understood?" Isaac asked Amy.
"Boy, I sure hope so."
"If she didn't, I am not helping out with that."
"Oh well, we'll leave her be for now. In the mean time I have an idea as to figuring out where the heck she's from."
"Oh? And I don't supposed you care to tell me this idea?" He starts smirking again.
"I warned you, Isaac." Amy punches him in the stomach and Isaac falls to the ground with the winds knocked out of him.
"Wha-... the hel-... was that for!..." He manages to wince out.
"I told you not to make that stupid face at me or I'll punch you in the gut."
"Ugh...." Isaac stumbles his way back to his feet, he's holding his stomach in pain, "I think you left me with a permanent bruise."
