Emily POV
I heard the sound of my phone ringing, I rushed upstairs to answer it. It was an unknown number.
"Hello?" I said.
"Em" The person on the other side asked. She seemed upset and scared and her voice sounded extremely familiar.
"Em, it's me" She said.
"Alison..? You died, in the house fire" I said, confused.
"No I didn't, I managed to escape. A wants you to think they killed me, so they can have me all to theirselves" Alison explained.
"Oh my god. Alison where are you? What happened that night you apparently got murdered, we need answers! It's been over two years" I said.
"Emily, I will tell you and the others everything soon, I promise. But for now you can't tell them I'm alive, I mean it" Alison said.
"When can I see you?" I asked.
"Soon Em, I promise" Alison said.
"I need to go" Alison said.
"Bye Ali" I said as she hung up the line.
Oh my god, I didn't know what to think, how to feel. Alison was actually alive and she wanted me to keep it a secret from the other girls? It was going to be hard but I had too.
There were so many things I needed to know. What happened that night Alison "got murdered", how did she stay in hiding for over two years, where was she staying?
She owed us all answers, I just hope we were going to get them.
Avery POV
Aria, Emily, Hanna, Spencer and I were standing at our lockers waiting for first period. We were all having a conversation about summer break and how excited we were. The girls were all making plans and discussing things we could do but what they didn't know is that I wasn't going to be there for summer break.
I saved up enough money and decided to go to New York for summer break. I needed some time away from Rosewood and all the A drama, it would do me good.
I wasn't going to tell the girls just yet because I know that all they would do is convince me to stay in Rosewood. But I will let them know in three weeks when summer break starts.
The bell for first period rang, I gathered my books and started to walk to my English class. But I stopped when I noticed someone walking down the halls, the last person I wanted and was expecting to see.
Paige.
"Guys!" I said tapping all of the girls on the shoulders. The expressions on their faces grew scared and shocked.
I turned to Paige who was behind us. She was surrounded by two people, I guess she needed people to watch out for her to make sure she doesn't go trying to kill people.
"Why the hell did they let her out?" Spencer whispered.
"I don't know, but they sure as hell shouldn't have" I replied. She had a scary and fierce look in her face. It basically said I want to kill you.
"She can't hurt us anymore" Aria said.
"Do we really believe that?" Emily asked.
"Let's just hope the time she spent in the nuthouse fixed her up" I replied, not really knowing any other way to put it. It's true, I was scared of her. I was scared that she was going to hurt us. I didn't want to have to deal with Paige and A.
I headed off to my class and tried to ignore the fact that Paige was sitting a few rows behind me.
Finally the class that seemed to go forever finished.
"Hey beautiful" I heard Mason behind me as I was putting my books in my locker.
"Hey" I replied kissing him on the lips.
"I had an awesome time on the weekend" he said with a smirk.
"Me too" I smiled.
