I told you I'm terrible at titles. Well, this is my first fanfiction so if you are reading it thank you!
If you find any mistakes or have any suggestions I'd love to know... Also comment if you like it please!
I do not own Fairy Tail or Pokemon though either would be amazing! (I'd probably mess them up though so it's probably better this way)

The sun rose lazily over the city of Saffron. This, however, didn't make the city itself any less busy. People were hurrying around, running to and from everywhere. Some trainers were heading to the Saffron City Gym to try to earn a Marsh Badge, most failing. The light was thrown over the city, like an unfolding blanket of golden From the Heartfilia Mansion hidden in the hills above the shining city, you could see it perfectly. Sunrise here was like nowhere else, in the mind of the young woman asleep in a huge bed, facing the magnificent windows of the room. The delicate white drapes blew gently from the morning breeze, glowing gold in the light. This is the kind of life most could only dream of: comfortable, beautiful, and sophisticated.
The young woman's father was wealthy, having gained enough money in his years of working for Silph Co. in town, and often going away for business trips, (leaving his daughter alone with the maids, who, though kind to her, didn't make up for the lack of a parental figure), to afford such a life. What he had in wealth, he lacked in kindness, or really much warm-heartedness at all. His daughter had always just wanted to get his attention and love. Sadly, he never gave it. The girl when she was little was heartbroken, just wanting to be loved by her parent. Her mother had died a few years ago, so her father was really all she had.
The light rolled through the large windows, falling gracefully onto the young woman's face. Delicate strands of blonde hair fell over her as she stirred, waking up slightly. The light filtered in through the trees leaving a pattern of leaves across her bed. She groggily opened her eyes, then groaned, and buried her face under her blankets. Though she knew she had to wake up, what was five more minutes? She wouldn't be able to get the sleep she wanted so much, however. In the corner of her room, a creature stood.
"Pii?"
Lucy's eyes opened to the sound of her pokemon. "Ugh... 5 more minutes Plue..." Togepi was one of Lucy's pokemon, who she nicknamed Plue. In Lucy's mind, it was a perfect name because it was so adorable. Plue frowned; he was cold. He glanced at the open window, and walked over to it. After climbing onto the windowsill, he was even colder. Why can't she just wake up already? Plue hopped down to walk back over to the bed.
When he reached her, he whined, "Pii!" his frown still prominent on his small face.
"Ugggggggggggh fine..." The young blonde got out of bed, her eyes adjusting to the light still. She crouched down so she could see the little togepi. She noticed the frown on his face and smirked. He was so cute when he's mad. "Do you want something Plue?"
The pokemon gestured frantically towards the window, but stopped as soon as he saw she didn't understand. While wondering how to get his point across, he started shivering. This wasn't rare for Plue; he was almost always cold.
Lucy's face lit up in understanding. "Ohhh you're cold. How 'bout I close the window little guy?" With that she got up and walked over to the large window. Plue sighed and facepalmed (well the best he could). Lucy however, didn't notice. She again was staring agape out the window at the beautiful sunrise. Her eyes drifted down to the city, and her attitude shifted. The Silph Co. building was standing right in the middle of the city, it's tall form still in shadow unlike the rest of the world, it seemed to Lucy. The sun hadn't risen high enough to throw its blanket of woven beams of light over it yet. The building ruined an otherwise perfect view. Just another reason to hate it. Lucy sighed, and turned back to Plue, who was tapping his foot, still shaking.
"Oh yeah, sorry Plue." Lucy shut the window and started to get ready for the day.
I thought it was longer than that... oh well. This is basically an introduction anyways, right? Well I'm sorry for making it so short I will make it longer later.
