My Dad Is Not A Monster: A Loki's Daughter Story

Chapter 1: Midgard

Loki POV

*Takes place during first Avengers*

I climbed out the ruble I had been thrown into by me. Well not me, but a clone of me created by the dark elves. They had used their magic to look like me and mimic my power. Now everyone thinks I created this mess. But I didn't. I came to stop it. I am the only one who can fight me. I know my weakness.

I stand on my wobbling legs ready to fight when a blast of light flies over my shoulder missing me but hitting the copy of me. I duck as another one his shot at me. I don't need to see to know who it is. Iron Man. Before a repulsor could hit me I was gutted by Mjolnir. I am pushed against a building and fall on my chest.

"This is the real Loki" my brother calls to his fellow friends.

Thor. I get on my hands and knees trying to get up and he grabs my arm.

"Loki you are to be taken back to Asgard to be tried for your crimes," he says voice empty of emotion. He puts magic handcuffs.
"W-What?" I didn't do this. Thor sighed loudly. "I don't have time for your games brother. We will let father handle that" he said as he dragged me along.

"He is not my father" I mumble under my breath. I was to weak to fight back so I let him drag me along.

Thor looked back at his friends who looked at me with anger.

"I will return when needed."
And with that we left Midgard.

Mini time skip

As I was dragged by asgardian guards I kept looking through rooms hoping to spot her. I needed to see her. So she knew i didn't do this. All that mattered was that she believed me.

"Daddy"

I looked over my shoulder to see her running down the hallway after me. Thor was right behind her.

"Emerald" I called back to her. Before I could say more I was pushed through golden gates and thrown at the stairs to the thrown. There sat Odin.

"Daddy" Emerald yelled as she wrapped her small arms around my neck. Because of the handcuff i couldn't hug her so I just repeated I love you into her black hair.

As Thor and the guards started to bow Emerald stood and turned to Odin with eyes full of hatred.
I couldn't help the smirk that pulled at my lips.

" Do you refuse to bow to the all father" Odin said with his big old annoying voice.

Emerald ignored his question. Instead she said " Whatever you think my dad did he didn't" Emerald said wrapping her arms back around my neck. For a 12 year old she has guts.

Odin ignored Emerald and looked back to me. "You have committed crimes that cannot go unpunished" Odin said standing from his throne focusing his one eye on me.

"HE DIDN'T DO IT" Emerald yelled from her spot next to me. "He never would do such a horrible thing. He is a hero. He is my hero" She yelled at the one eyed hag. I didn't hide my smile this time. "Good girl" I said kissing her cheek. She smiled at me.

"YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY. WELL THE NEXT THING I SAY WON'T BE SO FUNNY. LOKI IS SENTENCED TO SENTENCED TO SIX YEARS IN HIS JAIL CELL. EMERALD IS TO BE BANISHED TO MIDGARD" Odin bellowed banging his staff on the stairs.

"NOO" Emerald screamed as she clung to me while the guards try to taker her away. "GET AWAY FROM HER" I scream as I am pulled from her tiny arms.

"Thor you are to assist Emerald to the Brifost" Odin said. Thor's eyes met with mine as he passed me. I pleaded with him. Then Emerald was carried out by the only person I trusted.

Emeralds POV

Once we arrived at the Brifost I was finally able to get away from my uncle. I kicked against his stomach and crawled back away from him. How could he betray my father like this. "How could you" I said getting as far away from him as I could.

"Your father did a bad thing and needs to pay the consequences" Thor told me trying to get closer.

"He didn't do it. He hasn't committed a crime since I was born which was 12 years ago. You still don't trust him" I said the last part quietly. I looked to Hemidal.

"I am ready" I said standing up and walking over to him. I looked back to Thor. "Please tell my dad I love him. You remind him every day" I told him and with that I was gone.

1 Hour Later

I open my eyes and I see a man with curly hair looking over me and I scream. Like ear piercing and he falls back. I sit up and see where I am. I am sitting on top on some medal table.

"Way to go Bruce you scared her," Says a man coming down the hall. I jump of the table and start walking backwards.

"P-Please d-don't hurt me," I say putting my hands up in defense as the man comes closer.

"Don't worry we are the good guys. My names Tony. Whats yours" Tony says squatting to get to my height.

I was hesitant. Daddy always told me not to talk about strangers. But Thor uses to tell stories about a man named Tony who turned into a man of iron. So it seemed safe to tell him.

"Emerald," I said taking a more confidence stances.

"Well Emerald welcome to Avengers Tower." Tony says

Avengers so these are the people who my uncle works with. And the ones who help capture my dad.

"That guy who scared you, thats Bruce" He said pointing to him. I give him a small wave.

"You were found in the ruble. Do you know if your parents made it." He says turning back to me.

I wasn't going to tell him who my dad is because he might kill him.

"Um..their gone" I say hoping he didn't suspect anything.

He nods like he understands.

"Do you know who did this...destruction," I asked. If he said my dad I am leaving.

"A very bad man named Loki. He is very evil. He kills for fun. But don't worry. My friends and I will get him one day." Tony said voice laced with anger.

Thats it I am gone.

"I am leaving. I-I just need to go." I say pushing past him trying to get out but I ran right into another person.

"S-sorry" I said looking up at him.

"Its okay. Were were you going?" He asked when Tony walked into the room.

"I think I somehow offended her." Tony said walking into the room. I glared at him.

"You do have a way with pissing people off though. It just comes naturally" The man said smiling at me.

"I am Steve." He said sticking out his hand for me to shake. I did.

"Emerald" I say smiling. Steve grabs my hand and we walk up some stairs to I am guessing the living room. He puts me on the couch and tells me the whole story on how he found me alone in the rubble of the destroyed New York. He told me about Loki but wasn't has harsh as Tony was. I

"Hey Emerald can I ask where you got the weird clothing" Tony asked pointing to my clothing. I was still wearing my Asgardian clothing. Steve scolding him for being rude so I did't have to answer.

"You could stay with us. I mean if you want" Steve asked turning towards me.

I thought about it. Not because I felt an attachment to them or anything I barely know them. It just they are Thor's friends and he will hopefully come back to visit them and then maybe he can take me back to Asgard. I nodded then gave them a genuine smile. Steve hugged me and Tony smiled.

In the mean time I was going to prove my dad innocence.
