Chapter 1:

Ariana's POV:

The radio blasts as I get onto the highway. Today is going to be great. I am going to a country music festival. I've waited so long, and it's finally here. I've always had a love for music. I'd don't know where I'd be without it, or if I'd even be here without it. I mostly listen to it, occasionally I write my own songs. Especially country music. I've loved country music since I was a kid. It's been so many years and I've never gotten sick of it. On the downside, it reminds me of my childhood, which was not that great. But beside from that, it's my life.

Suddenly, I get stuck in traffic. I hate this so much. I hope I get there on time. I've waited a year for this, I would be devastated if I couldn't go. Eventually it cleared up, but I am still tight on time.

I finally arrive at the arena. I find a parking spot fairly close to the arena and park my car. There's already a huge line. If only the time went faster. I stand there for about an hour or so. It wasn't a very interesting hour. The only fairly interesting thing was this boy. He had dirty blonde hair and bright blue eyes. He was wearing a red baseball tee with skinny jeans and white converse. Anyway, he was surrounded by fans of his, I'm guessing. I have no clue who he is but I fell in love with him when he sang a quick song for the fans. He had an amazing voice and a knack for playing the guitar. After his performance he smiled and waved at me. I wish I knew his name.

We were all finally let in. I looked around and finally found my seat. The 9th row from the stage, not bad. After a Half hour, the first act came out. They were very talented, and had amazing songs. The next act, but to be rude but, was terrible. They were off-tune and kept missing notes. I begged for it to be over. But I'm not one to judge.

Then he came on. The boy I saw earlier. With the same dirty blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Except he was wearing a blue v neck instead of a baseball tee. Anyways, he blew me away. He not only had a knack for playing the guitar, but for playing the piano, the drums, I could go on. He had the voice of an angel. This kid seriously has talent. How come I haven't found out about him sooner? I am mesmerized by him. And I finally found out his name.

Hunter Hayes.
