Maya's POV
It was already homecoming I can't believe it!i'm really excited for tonight even though I don't have a date,well I better start getting ready,I go inside my bathroom and take a long 30 minute shower,than I decide to leave my hair naturally wavy,I put on my dress my heels,I paint my nails,put my earrings on and head to Riley's apartment.
Riley:Maya are you here?
Riley texted me
Maya:yeah I'm coming through the window now.
I texted and came through Riley window,she looked amazing she was wearing a black long skirt a yellow crop top and yellow high heels her hair was in a high pony tail and her makeup Riley just loves wearing make up me I'm all about the natural look.
"Maya I'm so excited me and Lucas are going together!!"Riley said jumping up and down.
"Yeah"I said,I like Lucas a lot but no one can now the only person that knows is zay.
"Maya don't be sad you didn't get a date but it's ok we will still have fun"Riley said
"Yeah I'm not sad I um was just thinking about-"I was interrupted by someone opening the door.
"Uncle josh"screamed Riley and went to go hug josh.
"Hey Riley"he said and hugged her back.
"You look great"he said to her.
"Thanks"she said
"Maya you're not gonna say hi"he said
"You look amazing by the way"he said noticing I don't say anything.
"Thank you josh and hi"I said and went over to give him a hug but before I could we go interrupted by the buzzer on Riley's apartment it was probably Lucas farkle and smackle.
"Well you still owe me that hug"he said
"Ok ok stop flirting and lets go"Riley said and grabbed my hand josh ran behind us.

Lucas POV
I was really nervous every second the elevator door was close to opening I am so nervous Riley me we tried it once and it didn't work I hope it works now.
Me farkle and smackle walk over to the Matthews door and tap the buzzer,Mrs.matthews opens the door.
"Hey guys the girls will be down right now"she said
I saw Riley coming down the stairs she looked beautiful.
But then I saw Maya and she looked amazing I've never seen her like that but I can't feel this with her I can't I like Riley.
"Hey"Riley says
"You look great"I say
"Awe thanks you do to"she says and kisses me on the cheek.
"Hey Lucas,farkle smackle"said josh
"Hey"I said
"Hi"said farkle and smackle together
"Hey huckleberry"Maya said
"Hey Maya you look beautiful tonight not that you don't other nights you look nice"I say looking at my feet.
"Thankyou Lucas"she says and goes in for a hug.
I hold tight not wanting to let go but Riley pushed us away.
"Okay time to go"Riley says
"Ok"we all say.
"Hey Maya you owe me something"josh says what is he talking about,Maya runs to josh and hugs him I wish that was me,I feel jelouse no I can't do this to Riley.
