I ran for the village as fast as I could. I heard screaming from a house. I ran in and saw the house and saw the kid. His clothes were burned. I grabbed him and ran out of the house. I heard more soldiers so I hid in the weeds. Be quiet I said to the kid. Dang it looks like there staying in this area I said. Will have to stay here until the leave I said. I got on my radio and called for backup but nobody answered. I told the kid we should just go to sleep. I lay my head down hoping that they wouldn't slit my throat.
