Awkwardness was present; no one had said a word since they got out of the restaurant. After they were done puking their guts out they didn't even glance the waitress' way, both ran to the closest exit and got the hell out of that place.
Now the pair was walking down the streets again, Niall on Harry's shoulder.
"I'm still hungry," said Niall.
"Yeah, me too." Harry was regretting not eating his French Toast.
"I think we should take a break, I'm starting to sweat." Niall had done no walking as he was sitting on Harry's shoulder, yet he felt tired.
"How can bread sweat?" Asked Harry.
"I'm pretty sure it has something to do with photosynthesis, didn't you study that in school?"
"Oh, right." Harry pretended to know what photosynthesis was, "I studied photoshopthesis when I was little so i don't really remember that well."
Niall knew Harry did not have a clue about what photosynthesis was but didn't say anything about it as he was really exhausted from all that gagging.
They found a bench that was under a big tree which gave them a bit of shade.
"My Instagram picture has one hundred likes," The curly haired boy was obviously talking about the photo he took of the cockroach.
"Harry, I don't give a shit about how many likes your picture got on Instagram, alright? I need to eat, like, soon." Niall dramatically wiped the single bead of sweat on his forehead. It was miraculous how one could sweat in such low temperatures.
"I think there's a McDonald's down the street, it takes about five minutes to get there."
Niall sat up at the mention of McDonald's. What happened next caught both boys by surprise, a bald eagle swooped in from the distance and grabbed Niall with his beak. He flapped away, struggling a little because of the weight of what he carried. The eagle screamed "freedom!" while doing a backflip in midair. Niall screamed like Kylie Jenner would if she found out her favorite lip filler was being discontinued. The eagle brought Niall to a tree where he would feed him to his babies.
Harry was now trying to climb the tree but not succeeding, his lanky body wasn't on his favor. He could not let his possible best friend die. After various fails he made it to the branch where the eagle was sat. Harry needed something to distract the eagle so he could get Niall out of the big nest he'd been put in. He looked in his pockets and the only things he found were his Walgreens card and an old napkin. He'd used the napkin to clean his hands after eating chicken wings.
An idea came to Harry. He knew how to save his friend.
He wiped the greasy napkin all over his hair and positioned himself in the tree so that a ray of light shined straight to his hair. The light reflected from Harry's hair to the eagle's eyes, blinding him for some time. The eagle flew away scared and blind.
Harry quickly grabbed Niall and ran to McDonald's where he treated himself to some chicken nuggets.
