Justin's POV

"Scooter. Keith is calling her"

Scooter looked over and answered.

"Hello?" Scooter said into the phone.

"No, sorry." then he hung up.

"What did he want Scoot?"

"He was asking if Ariana was around."

"Do you want him talking to her?"

"I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure they aren't in contact. But if it happens, it happens." 

Elizabeth's POV

I hate Justin. I hate everything. I'm done with everything.

I sat on my computer and stalked my friends.

About half an hour later there was a knock on the door.

"Yeah?"

My Dad then walked in.

"You know that the VMA's are tonight right?"

"Yeah?"

"Well you are going, you know that right?"

"Yeah, I think I'm going to past."

"Well you are performing now so get ready."

"Wait what?! No. Dad I'm not ready for that."

"Honey just perform something from the tour."

At the VMA's

I was at the VMA's getting ready to go on. I was on the wing and Justin came up to me.

"What are you performing."

I just gave him a look and looked back at the stage.

"Come on Ariy."

I snapped my head at him.

"Do not EVER call me that."

"WELCOME TO THE STAGE ARIANA!"

I then walked on stage.

"Hey everyone. Usually you start and then maybe say something but this song is very close to my heart. I recently went through a break up and I feel like this song is something everyone has felt at one point."

"I looked in my rear view mirror and -"

I was looking out at all the people. My Dad and Justin in the front row.

The only thing I wish was Keith was there.

By the middle of the song I was in tears.

Everyone started to scream my name.

I ran off stage and ran right to my dressing room.

"Ari!"

"OPEN THE DOOR ARIY!"

I could tell the voice was Justin.

"Go away Justin." I yelled through the tears. 

"Please open the door.'

I walked over to the door.

"What could you possibly need?"

He hugged me.

I started to cry into him.

He shut the door and picked me up and brought me to the couch.
 He then pulled me close and played with my hair.

"It will be okay Ari."

"Why would he do this? I loved me. Justin I loved him ."

I don't think you all know this but my ex boyfriend's name was keith and he left me a few months ago for another girl and it broke my heart. We were together for almost a year and it felt like I lost my best friend. THats why I'm not really into writing the story because I let him in. I brought him in the story and it sucks cause I feel like hes an important part.
