Chapter 5. I KNOW You

Robert and Althea were now doing a stare off. "Your back? What are you doing here? Didn't you move to North Carolina?" Robert was asking her question nonstop. "Rob, I had to leave but not let anyone know where I was going... you know that. I was kicked out remember." She said looking at him. While they were talking Robert was handing her the ferret. He gave her the ferret in her hands, he looked into her eyes and said "I still love you Thea." Althea blushed fully red almost as a rose. He went in for a kiss. She closed her eyes. Stayed there. "I...I got to go me and my uh uh friends are doing some shopping..." As she walked away he grabbed her arm and said. "What school do you go to?" He asked her. "Springdale High..." Althea said and ran to the cashier and paid for her pet.

"Why are you crying? Did that pet guy treat you bad?" Alina said. "No... he treated perfect..." Althea said putting the box with her ferret in the back with Alina. She started the car. "What?" Ashley said. "He's... my... ex... I told him I moved to North Carolina... but he found me now. He kissed me and I missed him indeed.... well now where to?" Althea asked blushing. "Well uh, lets...go home. I think we've had enough. What's for lunch?" Ashley asked. "I've got some things for at least three sandwiches." Althea said looking around nodding to people as they drove by. "Alright." Both Alina and Ashley agreed.
Ring ring...
"Who's phone?" Alina asked putting her purse on the coat hanger by the door. "It's the house phone." Althea running to the phone. She froze,Alina and Ashley both looked at her.
"Hey...uhm Althea hey...can we speak...alone today later at 6... by the park we use to hang out at." It was Robert.
"Sure. I'll meet you there. Are you gonna bring Bruno? I'll bring Bella..." Althea responded.
"Yea. See you there." Robert hung the phone.
Althea blushed, and turned so many other colors that her skin color. Alina and Ashley both looked at her shocked. "What happened?" Alina asked. "What - time - is - it?" Althea asked looking around for her brush. "5:20 why?" Ashley said. Althea turned pale. "So he asked you out? At 5:30?" Both other girls asked laughing. "Yes. But 6... WHERE'S MY BRUSH?!" Althea asked frustrated. "Right-there..." Alina said. "Okay I gotta go home and do homework. Good luck girl." Ashley said getting her new pet. "By the way what's your ferret's name?" Ashley asked before leaving. "Tok tok." Althea smiled while brushing her hair. Both Alina and Althea left. Althea put her dog which she had kept since 7th grade, and her ferret in her car. Her dog's breed was boxer. Just like Robert.

At Springdale Park.
"Hey Robert look-" Althea said.
"I know we have to talk Althea." He said.
"I'm not gonna deny it...I still love you..." Althea sighed.
They walked to the dog section of the part which was fenced. They were alone so they let their dogs loose. As Althea and Robert talked, Bruno and Bella played around.
"I missed you Thea..."
"I missed you too."
They looked into each other's eyes.
"Then why didn't you tell me you stayed here? Why did you break up with me?"
"Robbie I had to. You know those brats knew their way into finding out everything."
"I'm moving to Springdale High. Too so we could be together again Thea."
"For real? Robbie, for me?"
"Yes."
Althea rested her head on his shoulder.
