A/N: Oh! I'm gonna try out thrid person's POV in this chapter. I've tried that out in my other story, in few chapters because I'd no other choice. But I wanna try that out in this as I'm overly impressed by two authors here who did use 3rd person's POV in their stories. It was too good. And I'm gonna risk it here in my own story. XP Read at your own risk. (I know no one's reading my story but I can hope that people may take a peek anytime in future, right?) Tell me if its good or I should continue writing in one person's POV only.

"Just calm down, Kate." Zander said for the umpteenth time to the highly nervous Katelyn.

Katelyn was hyperventilating as they were in Zander's car, about to step out of it in few seconds and enter the school building.

She wasn't used to unnecessary attention and by going hand in hand with Zander would not only gain everyone's attention but also some bitchy girls' hatred and wrath.

Katelyn placed her hands over either side of her face and turned to Zander in pure horror and asked, "Am I that readable?"

Zander chuckled at her and felt it was damn cute. He, being her mate also felt another thing. He wanted to kiss the life our of her but all he wanted to do was make her feel the love and not scare her.

He just placed his hand on her cheek and made her look at him. Still she was hyperventilating.

"I can hear your heart beating way out of normal, it may get injured or something. Or worse, it may jump out." He joked and that only made Katelyn to crack up and hit him playfully.

Finally, she made her mind up and stepped out and soon, Zander joined her. He didn't wanna make it look that obvious by holding her hand or kissing in public, so he just walked beside her.

As they were about to enter, Katelyn noticed her best friends approaching in her direction with huge grins on their faces. She, immediately sprinted towards them and shortened the distance. The three of them got into a group hug, leaving Zander to stand aside and watch them.

Caleb and Brittany had missed her so much. But Caleb had missed not only his best friend but also his childhood partner in crime.

"I missed you, guys." Katelyn said after pulling back from the hug.

"Pft, we just met Saturday at the party." Caleb snorted and got smacked by both the girls. Brittany practically shoved him aside, next to Zander and turned her whole attention to her friend.

"How's life going on there?" Brittany asked as the girls completely forgot their mates and started heading inside.

Katelyn started telling her everything, forgetting that Zander and Caleb could hear her too.

Zander only smiled at his now babbling, cute mate while Caleb was scowling since the girls had ditched him.

"Has she settled down there?" Caleb asked Zander, giving up hopes on being called or noticed by the two girls walking in front of them.

"She's okay." Zander smiled at Caleb and the two guys listened to Katelyn's story telling. In that way, Caleb didn't have to enquire Zander about her too.

Since everyone, the werewolves of both the packs knew about Katelyn being the two Alpha's mate, she has to be protected. Generally, Alpha's mate has to be safe until she's marked and mated completely. Katelyn being the unique mate who's claimed by the two alpha's, has to kept more safe until she makes her choice, then marked by her mate and then mated.

Thankfully, Zander or Ryan were there in all her classes and there wasn't any need to alter her classes or anything.

Zander didn't be with her all the time and make himself look clingy or anything but somehow he was around her and she was with her best friends, as if nothing had changed.

Zander dragged her to sit next to him during lunch and that's when people noticed their newly bloomed relationship. And Katelyn used Caleb as her shield to block the daggers shot in her direction from the bitches, whores etc.

When school was over Zander and Caleb were walking behind the two girls, Brittnay and Katelyn, who were still babbling endlessly about something.

"Bye, Kate and Alp- Zander." Brittany was about to blurt out her respect towards her alpha but masked it by coughing and grinning sheepishly. Zander only chuckled at her behavior as she waved at them.

Caleb just gave a nod, to show that he's a dude and not a babe to express his emotions. But, inside, he wanted to never let go of his best friend.

Now, Zander couldn't help but hold her hand when they exited the hallways with few bicthy eyes burning holes on the intertwined hands.

Then something unexpected happened.

Ryan joined them too by holding Katelyn's other free hand.

"Ryan? What?" Katelyn asked a bit annoyed and confused at his sudden action.

'What are you doing, Ryan?' Zander yelled through mind link.

'Just getting back home along with my mate.' Ryan answered with a grin.

"Ryan. She's staying in my place this week and I think you're not supposed to be tagging along with us." Zander said it out loud as they got to his car. Kayelyn was nodding her head, agreeing to what Zander just said. But she didn't pull her hand out of Ryan's hold. She thought it's a waste of time and energy which may also create a entertaining scene for the others if Ryan refused to let go of her hand.

"Oh! But I don't remember, hearing anything like that from grandpa." He smirked at Zander.

Still, the bitches didn't miss out this scene. Katelyn just sighed and looked at Zander.

"He can come along too. I don't wanna create any scene here." She said, totally defeated.

Zander huffed and ran his fingers through his hair before agreeing. That only made Ryan's smirk to grow wider.

Ryan asked one of his pack guy to bring his car to the house and hopped inside the passenger seat while Katelyn was seated at the back.

Zander was beyond pissed. He'd actually planned to take her to some places after school. He expressed all of his anger on the steering wheel and mentally punching Ryan in his face, multiple times.

Ryan knew that Zander would take this to their Grandpa and soon Ryan wouldn't be able to interfere or play around with his mate. All he could do at the moment was to wait for this week too pass by in a flash so he would be able to spend some time with her in his place.
