Sirens blared in the background, almost like in a movie. Parents rushed in and out, pulling their kids out of the church. My mom and dad burst into the room, covering Mia's eyes, as if she would remember this moment for the rest of her life. They stood at the doorway, looking for their cold-hearted, soon-to-be forgotten and their innocent, full of life daughters. Coleton then busted through the doors in a panicked state. He looked through all the other people, just to find me. When he couldn't find me through all the commotion, he spotted Riley. The poor girl sat against the wall, her knees up, but her arms down by her side. Coleton ran to her, through all the sound, she couldn't exactly identify who was saying what.
"Riley! Where's Hannah? Riley!" He shook her. "Riley, please. Please, tell me!" My little sister stared into nothing, she didn't realize her gaze was fixed on a small boy with black hair almost covering his eyes. He wore a grey jacket way too big for him. The boy turned and exited the room. Riley's trance was then broken and all the words flooded her mind. Her brain returned to reality.
"NO! NO! NO!" The young child screamed. She panicked. "COLETON NO!" Riley pushed past Coleton and ran to the stretcher I was being raised upon. She tried to grab my cold hand, "LET ME SEE MY SISTER!" The paramedics pushed Riley away and took my body out the emergency exit.
Coleton realized who he was seeing. He saw me, dead, bloody me. Coleton looked around the room and saw no one else lifeless or bloody. This fact made him sick. He raced past my parents and down the hallway. My parents still hadn't seen me, they wondered what the boy was doing. Coleton barely made it into the bathroom, before he got hot and sweaty. His palms were clammy, and his stomach started rumbling. He leaned over the toilet and threw up. Coleton was angry, he slammed the bathroom door and screamed. His breath heavily escaped his mouth as he gasped for air. He tried to hold in his anger, but Coleton wasn't the type of person that could do that. He was the type of person to punch cement walls, and kick them. He was the type of person to curse at The Lord. Coleton didn't want to believe it, but he had to. The teenager broke down in tears, soon Preacher Tim ran to his side. The preacher called for help. Four men lifted Coleton and calmed the boy down. Coleton wanted to die, but there was nothing he could do. I was gone, all the pain had disappeared.
Outside, Riley was still trying to see her dead sister. She begged, "She's my sister, I need to see her!" And tried to jump on the stretcher. Her tears drowned out her words. My pale body was lifted into the ambulance and the lights blinded Riley. She covered her ears and screamed. Her poor soul would never be the same again.
