Chapter 2~The Park

Sunday

I woke up to a puppy licking my face holding his leash in his grip waving it in my face. "Fine Thorgi we can go to the park today" I said while Thorgi was jumping up and down uncontrollably. I got up gave him some food then went in the shower used my cherry shower gel then got ready in a light blue t-shirt, jeans with rips at the knee, black trainers, a black hoodie and a hilt witch kept my diamond sword in just in case i decided to practice with my sword while we were out. I went downstairs and got a piece of toast got Thorgi's leash on picked up my soccer ball and walked to the park hopefully there was a soccer pitch.

I finally got there after a 10 minute walk with Thorgi padding by my side. I let him off the leash and let him run on the grass and chase squirrels. Then I found a pitch were I started kicking the ball at the goal when I heard someone say "Hey dude can we play" I turned around and saw 3 guys one with sandy blonde hair and light blue eyes, a one with brown hair and emerald green eyes and a one with blue hair and blue eyes. They didn't notice that I was a girl because I had my hood up. "Sure why not what about a 2 v 2" I replied 

"Right Dante you go with...." he said starting to trail off then I noticed I didn't give them my name "Oh sorry guys my name is Aphmau" i said they just stared at me in confusion. I threw the ball at down to the ground and they realized I wanted to start playing "Oh by the way I'm Garroth that's Laurence and that's Dante" Garroth said pointing to the boys "Okay what about first team to 3 wins" Dante said. So while they weren't looking I shot the first goal "Yay one point to me" I said crossing my arms staring at the guys while they were just frozen thinking about how I just did that. "Game on" I said while running twords the ball.

We were there for about an hour into the game 4:4 since Laurence changed it to the first person to get to five wins because he must have took it as a personal challenge when I shot first goal and Thorgi sitting on the side lines watching us play. Then Dante shot a long shot and it was heading twords Garroth who was ready to take it so I ran ahead jumped and headbutted it into the goal. They just looked astonished at my accuracy with the ball. Then Thorgi jumped onto me and started licking my face till my hood fell off and revealed my face and long silk black hair.

The boys just stared in amazement and walked twords me "Y-y-your a g-girl"Garroth said stuttering "Yep I wasn't the captain of the Jury of Nine team for nothin' ya know" (btw the Jury of Nine in this story is the most famous soccer team ever). "THE C-C-CAPTAIN OF T-THE J-J-JURY OF N-NINE" they all stuttered in unison. "Guys your all sound like Garroth now" I said while couldn't keep myself from laughing. "By the way Aphmau what school do you go to" Dante asked 

"Well I'm starting Phoenix Drop High tomorrow" I said smiling "Hey, that's our school" Laurence said his face was beaming "Cool I'll see you tomorrow guys. Come on Thorgi" I said while walking way from them.

While I was cutting through some trees to get back from the center of the park I heard someone crying. When I got closer I saw it was a little girl Thorgi went up to her and licked her hand "H-huh a puppy" she said while sniffing. "Hey are you lost" I asked her in a caring voice "Y-yes I'm Abbie and I was with my brother Jeffory and he was taking me to the park when we got separated and I got lost in here" she said while wiping her tears on her arm. 

"I'm Aphmau come with me I'll get you some ice cream and we can wait at the fountain too see if your brother comes looking" I said while hugging her "Thank you Aphmau" she said giggling walking through the trees holding my hand.

After we got the ice cream a brown haired boy wearing a green jacket tugged at Abbie's arm causing her to scream. Revealing my over protective side I pulled out my sword and grabbed Abbie back and pointed it to his chest "What are you doing" I said in a ruff voice and my hood fell down once again "She is my sister Abbie we got separated my names Jeffory" he said looking shocked at my blade and my face "I'm so sorry my name is Aphmau and I just didn't know you were her brother" I said while putting my sword back on my hilt. Then Abbie went and hugged Jeffory "Jeffory, Jeffory Aphmau saved my from the trees and even bought me ice cream"she said giggling and beaming like she was about the burst 

"Well bye Jeffory see ya" I said while walking out of the park heading back home with Thorgi at my heels feeling a bit bad because I stuck a sword in his face.

Garroth's P.O.V

Me, Dante and Laurence were planning to go to the park and hang out and maybe play some soccer. When we got there we say a guy with a hood covering the top half of his face and I asked if we could play and he said yes he seemed cool. When the match finished the dude called Aphmau and Dante won. I was thinking to myself that was a weird name Aphmau but it's not my place to say it wasn't his choice of what he was called.

Then a husky ran up to him and his hood fell of to reveal a girl with tan skin, dreamy caramel eyes and silky black hair. I never knew girls could play soccer I said in my head so I wouldn't offend her. Now the name made sense. Then she told us she was the captain of the Jury of Nine the best soccer team in the world and then left. Leaving us staring frozen for what felt like five minutes. "She was beautiful"I said open mouthed then Laurence said " I think i'm in love"he said while giving me a death glare and all Dante could say was "WOW" then we just kicked about the ball for about half an hour and went home.

I told Zane who was my little brother what happened he started smirking and walked away mumbling to himself "Hmmm, a new victim this will be good". All I could think about in my bed was Aphmau and her dreamy caramel eyes

Aphmau's P.O.V

I went home and realized that Laurence still had my ball "Heh, I'll get it tomorrow" I said while I got dressed in my pj's. I lay down in my bed talking to myself "Those guys were kinda cute but I am not getting in another relationship after.... Cole" I said while closing my eyes stroking Thorgi's grey fur waiting what will await me tomorrow.
