Hello and welcome to the online interview show

                      ‘MEET THE WRITER’

On today’s show we have a very talented and an amazing writer who you all know as Kelly_1231. Let us all welcome Miss Kelly.

Her works are:

Ø   Did I Break Your Heart, Mr. Player? (Completed)

Ø   Ever After (Completed)

Ø   Revive My Heart

Ø   This Crazy Thing Called Love

Let’s do this thing….Come on in Kelly…!!

1)     Tell us a bit about yourself.

Ans:  Well, I'm an awkward fifteen-year-old living in Canada, and obviously, I love to read and write. I am an avid procrastinator and if I could, I'd sleep in every single day. My favourite colour is purple and my favourite food is anything Korean (ugh, I just went to a Korean grill and it was ah-mazing). My taste in music is all over the place and I'm into a lot of bands, so it's kind of hard to choose just one. But my favourite song at the moment is Alone by Sleeping With Sirens.

2)   Who is your favourite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?

Ans:  I have so many, but Rick Riordan, the author of the Percy Jackson series, has always been an author I kind of envied. He just knows how incorporate so much mythology into his work but still knows how to make it his own. I just love that he includes so many things everybody can enjoy like action, fantasy, and especially humour.

3)   What books have most influenced your life most?

AnsThe Harry Potter series, the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series, and basically anything by John Green.

4)   How do you conceive your plot ideas?

Ans:  Most of my stories on Wattpad are teen-fiction, so I usually get inspired by things in my own life or something that I just so happened to see while on my way to class. I'm sort of a wallflower, so as creep as it may seem, I like to observe a lot of my classmates’ mannerisms and I don't know, somebody just says something funny, and I have to write about it.

5)   Where and when do you like to write?

Ans:  I write in my bedroom and though I try to update at least once every week, I can't always keep that promise because sometimes I'll have writer's block. But I usually like to write when it's night time and everything's quiet; I just find it better to concentrate during that time.

6)   Who is your favourite character(s) in any of your works?

Ans In Ever After, my favourite characters are Vincent and Carson since they're so darn cute together. In This Crazy Thing Called Love, Izzy is my favourite character just because she's this weirder version of me, and in Revive My Heart, I like writing about Ivy who's sort of a villain in the story.

7)   What is your favourite genre?

Ans:  I like a lot of genres, but I do find myself leaning towards the paranormal and teen-fiction genre a lot of the times.

8)   Is anything that you have written based on real life experiences or purely all imagination?

Ans:  The only thing that I've written that is actually based on some things in my life is This Crazy Thing Called Love-- that's it. All my other stories are products of my imagination, though, some of the mannerism of the characters would resemble some people i actually know.

9)   How did you come up with the title?

Ans:  I don't really know, I just think a lot about what would attract readers to read the story and then BAM! I have a title.

10)   What was the hardest part of writing for you?

Ans:  Um, I guess trying to overcome writer's block. There have been times when i don't update for a month because I just did not know what to write and that's really hard to overcome.

11)   What advice would you give to people who "run out of creativity" when writing?

Ans:  I'd probably tell them to go outside, have an ice-cream, and just rest. I think when you run out of ideas, the worst thing you could do is begin over-thinking and start stressing yourself out. Just have a walk, look at the things and people around you, and just don't think about your story. Watch some random tv shows, even. Most of your ideas will come when you least expect it.

12)   If you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor?

AnsJK Rowling. That woman is such a legend.

13)   Do you have any advice to give to aspiring writers?

AnsDon't give up! Keep reading and writing, and just do what you love to do!

14)   Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?

Ans:  Yes, all of you are amazing and I cannot thank you guys enough for the amount of support you've given to me! I love you guys and if I could, I give each and every one of you a cookie! ^.^

15)   Random question:

If you were a super hero what powers would you have and what would your hero name be and what outfit would you wear?

AnsIf I was a super hero, I would probably want to be able to read people's minds but still have the ability to tune their thoughts off, you know? And I don't really know what my name would be, but what I do know is that I would probably just want to wear pyjamas as my outfit, lol.

If we could, we would wear pyjamas tooo, all the time, everyday, wouldn’t we people?

And about that cookie thing, we could think of ways in which you could send it to us… *wink*

That’s all for today folks….Stay tuned till next time when we come back with another episode of ‘MEET THE WRITER’ and another awesome writer.

Till then…..
