The hallways: crowded as usual. And me: trying to get to my class without dying, as usual. Why does my school have to have so many people?! For some reason, today was extra slow. Congestion, congestion everywhere.
I was getting impatient with a group of girls in front of me who were walking so slow. I tried going around them but it was useless. I looked around at all the tall people plowing through the crowd. Being short definitely has it's disadvantages. I was coming up on the hallway I needed to go down, but I couldn't get over! The flow of the students was driving me forward. Just when I thought I was a goner, a hand pulled me through and out of the giant mass and into the smaller branch of students. I looked up at my savior.
"You looked like you needed help," He said.
I laughed. "I did, thanks," I said.
He smiled. "No problem,"
I was about to walk away, but I felt my wrist being held back. I looked and saw that my bracelet was caught on his sweater.
"Oops, let me get that," The boy tried unhooking me, but it was no use.
"I don't want to snag your sweater," I said. The warning bell rang.
"I have to get to class!" I said, still struggling to free myself.
"Um, oh! Just take your bracelet off and I'll try getting it off in class," He said. "Then after, we can meet back here so I can give it to you," He said.
"Alright, I'll see you soon," He unclasped my bracelet, leaving it hanging off his sweater as I ran to class.
I figured it probably wouldn't have taken him long to get it off, so I was expecting it. An hour later, I met him at the same place we were at. And here he comes, bracelet still dangling.
"You couldn't get it off?" I asked, surprised.
"It was no use," He said.
"Here, let me try,"
"No!" My hand froze in place as I looked at him. "I mean, you might rip a string out of my sweater, then you'll have to buy me a new one," He said.
I chuckled. "Okay," I said, sounding more like a question. "So what are we gonna do then?" I asked.
"Guess I'll have to keep it," He said jokingly.
"Haha, sure," He laughed. "I'm Seungkwan, by the way," He said.
"(Y/n),"
"Nice name,"
"Yours too,"
"So, (y/n), what are we gonna do about this dilemma?"
"I don't know, I'm not allowed to touch my bracelet apparently," I said, laughing.
"Meet me at the front after school, I'll have it loose by then," He said.
"Alright, I'll take your word for it," I said. I gave him a look and walked to my next class.
After school, I went to the front of the building to meet Seungkwan and get my bracelet back. He was there alright, with my bracelet still stuck to him!
"Seriously, do you need help?" I asked.
"No, no, I got it," He went to grab the bracelet like he was going to free it, but something looked off.
"You're not even trying!" I yelled.
"Move," I swatted his hands and freed my bracelet in 3 second. "Why was that so hard?! Were you messing with me?"
He looked down and pouted. "Yes,"
"Why?"
"Because I wanted an excuse to keep seeing you," He said.
"Wha?"
"I've seen you around before but this is the first time I actually got a chance to talk to you and I didn't want it to end," He said.
I was a little touched, in a weird way. "Aw," I said.
"You probably think I'm weird, huh?"
"No! Not at all," I said, trying not to sound sarcastic.
Seungkwan looked up. "Really?"
"Really," He smiled. "Then you wouldn't mind me having your number?"
I smiled too. "Not at all," I said again.
