The Worst News

I woke up at 11am, it was a Saterday and I loved to sleep! I could've slept more but of course my mom made me get out of bed. I headed downstairs to get some breakfast and I noticed my mom was making chocolate chip pancakes and bacon. My mom hates to cook and only doesn't it on special occasions or when she feels guilty. "Ally honey, we need to talk." I felt my heart speed up in my chest..what did I do? "Well you see," my mom continued, "your father got a promotion is Arizona, in Phonix and we are moving there on Monday." My heart literally dropped to my toes! Audrey lives two streets down from me so I walk over all the time but I since I live in Michigan, and it's winter, it's literally freezing outside! I pull on some pants, a sweater and converse and put my hair in a French braid with a bow then I got some hot cocoa, my coat and my phone and ran to Audrey's house...
