Story #2

"Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, SARAH! I got some spectacular news! Wait up!"

The loud persistent voice of my best friend, Delaney, was echoing through the crowded hallways of Summerville High School.

Of course the people who knew me, were staring at me in amusement, taking the situation I'm in, hilarious. Which is half of the population, how nice. I sighed in disappointment, fastening my pace before Delaney catches up to me.

Let me introduce you to my best friend, Delaney. She is the type of person who feeds on gossip and loves to socialize with everyone in particular. She has no limit when it comes to partying, and she is one of the most sassiest person I know.

With her sparkling green eyes, wavy blonde hair, and her good taste in fashion, she could be considered a natural goddess of beauty. I always wondered how I befriended such a person in the first place.

Compared to her, I had dyed purple hair with blue streaks, dull grey eyes, and a bad taste in fashion. To be honest, I'd rather wear a two-layered shirt with some comfy sweatpants. Designer clothes are way too thin and tight for my liking.

Also, I am a very sarcastic person, preferring food over guys. Speaking to strangers isn't my strong point apparently, since I either seem to upset them by accident or we have nothing in common.

Hearing her footsteps from behind, I ran faster, attempting to make her lose track of me. She's going to catch up in no time, due to the fact that I suck at track and field and because she's in the girl's soccer team.

Seriously though, how does this girl even run in high heels and not trip? I'd love to know her secret, because I can't even attempt to walk four steps in them before falling flat on the floor.

Checking to see if she was still behind my trail, I was surprised to see she was actually further away from me than I reckoned. I guess those stilettos heels were tougher to run with than I thought.

A smug smile appeared on my face at that thought. When I caught a glimpse of Delaney's eyes widening, the grin faltered a bit, making her speak up with a shaky voice.

"Sarah! L-Look in front of you! You're going to bump into-"

Before I could hear the rest of what she was saying, I was suddenly slammed into a wall. A warm, breathing wall to be exact. Landing backwards onto the cold tiled floors, I grunted at the impact it caused to my face.

"Watch where you're going, idiot! Aren't ladies like you suppose to be fucking elegant and aware of where they're walking?" An angry husky voice scolded at me, even though I was sure it was just my imagination.

Like come on, be real for a moment Sarah. Walls can't breathe, they can't just suddenly appear in the middle of the hallways, and they certainly don't talk, unless...

I opened my eyes immediately, expecting a magical living automobile made out of bricks with a crazy scientist inside. Instead, I had to face one of the most arrogant, self-absorbed guys you'll ever meet.

Colton Wilters.

My face immediately formed a sour expression, my frown deepening when my eyes met his face.
