'Baytamins'

Grabe, I still can't believe this jejemon in front of me is such a cutie...

Her concentration was drifting away from the Algebra problem that RJ was currently explaining to her. Ever since she first saw him yesterday, she couldn't stop herself from stealing glances at him. Of course she was ever so careful not to be caught staring because that would embarrass the hell out of her.

"Okay, ikaw naman miss ganda. I-try mo ngang i-solb 'tong isang problem tapos tsek ko kung tama ang sagot mo. At para malaman natin kung naiintindihan mo na kung paano i-solb 'tong mga ganitong problems.."

That snapped her out of her thoughts and brought her back to focus. RJ the tutor is so different from his usual jeje self. Whenever he starts tutoring, he transforms into that serious, math genius who patiently explains to her how to go about solving different Algebra problems. He especially looks hot whenever he frowns in concentration and unconsciously bites the tip of his pen.

"Uhm..sorry RJ. I didn't really get your explanation. Pasensya ka na talaga, I'm such a slow learner 'pag Math subjects talaga.."

"Sus, ikaw naman miss ganda, ok lang yan! Iba-iba naman talaga ang kakayahan ng tao. Sige, sabihin na nating mahina ka nga sa Math, eh magaling ka naman sa mga damit damit, yung sa pah-shon ba, tsaka sa ingles. Eh ako magaling nga sa Math bano naman sa ingles. Pinagtatawanan nga ako ng mga kaibigan ko pag inglesan na kasi kung anu-ano na lang pinagsasabi ko mema lang hahahaha!"

My God that deep husky laugh! This guy is such a surprise talaga..Oh my God Meng stop that thought right now! 'Wag kang magkaka-crush sa kanya ano ka ba?

"Meng? Meng? Yoohoo? Anjan ka pa ba?"

Again RJ snapped her out of her thoughts. He was waving his pen in front of her face, trying to get her attention..

"Parang ang layo ng iniisip mo ngayon, may problema ba?"

"Huh? Nothing..I was just thinking about something. You know what, RJ? Why don't we take a short break? Hindi talaga inaabsorb ng utak ko yung mga tinuturo mo eh, sayang lang effort mo sa pagtuturo.."

"Sus, ano ka ba miss ganda? Ok lang yun no. Ansaya nga kasi sa tinagal-tagal ng pangungulit ko sa'yo, sa wakas prends na din tayo, AT dalawang araw na kitang nakikita," he told her, smiling sheepishly while twirling the straw on his drink.

"What? Ano ka ba, you sound as if super big deal sa'yo na nakita mo na ako.."

"Oy big deal kaya yun! Alam mo naman na kras na kras ko boses mo. Pag kinakausap mo nga ako sa selpon buo na araw ko. Eh yung nakikita pa kita, sobrang buo na ang araw ko.."

"Shut up! Hahahaha! RJ hindi ka lang jeje, bolero ka din pala! You don't have to make me bola 'coz I'll still treat you everytime you tutor me.."

"Ay grabe ka sa'kin Meng! Anong  akala mo sa'kin, cheeseburger lang ang habol sa'yo? Kahit 'di mo ko pakainin, tuturuan pa rin kita. Ikaw yata ang baytamins ko,"

"What are you talking about?" She couldn't help but giggle because she was so flattered by everything that he was telling her.

Oh my God I could look at his face all day... He looked so manly earlier when his brows were furrowed in concentration. Now, his boyish charms were in full force, with his bedimpled face flashing that wide grin.

"Baytamins...nagpapagana, ganun! Alam mo ba kahapon, pagkatapos kitang turuan, nagkayayaan kami nina Je at Godo..Counter daw, wampipti pusta. NAKOW! Sa dami ng energy ko dalawang beses kong na-headsyat si Je, tapos si Godo na-headsyat ko din pero 'sang beses lang. O eh di, dalawang oras lang may porpipti na ako? Easy money.."

He was chatting animatedly, with hand gestures and all. It's so adorable how he has no pretensions at all, and how he just launches into telling her how his day was, without filtering his words for fear of offending her sensibilities.

"Dahil sa'yo miss ganda, may porpipti ako kasi nakita ko yung baytamins ko," he was grinning at her so wide his eyes disappeared.

"O, so dapat pala ikaw ang mag-treat sa'kin kasi nanalo ka sa game mo," she joked.

"Oo naman! Kung gusto mo.."

"Kidding! Hahahaha of course this is my treat, ako na nga nagpapaturo ako pa magpapalibre...what?"

"Hah?"

"You're staring at me again.."

"Pasensya ka na, di ko mapigilan eh...'tsaka yung mga mata ko kasi, atat na daw mag-baytamins.."
