Smoke. That's all I can see. I'm close. If I wasn't, there would be no smoke at all, but there is. It's happened recently I'd say, probably only a few hours ago so they couldn't have gone too far. Looking around me I can see what's left of the buildings, trees and cars. They're all charred and obsidian coloured. Just like the last place, there's no one here. I hear a high pitched scream. Correction, there are a few people here. Flying over to the scream, the woman is defenestrated. Helpless, all I can do is watch as she falls to her impending doom. I look away, just as her body hits the ground but I can still hear the noise her body makes as it does. I lift my gaze back up to see the person who'd pushed her out follow her path and end up unmoving, next to her body. Determination to catch the person making these poor, defenceless humans commit these crimes intensifies. Even more committed to catch them than before, I continue to follow the horrible tragedy left in their wake.
