nialls pov

me, roxann and the kids were all playing outside in the pool and just enjoying oursleves. roxann was getting a tan, hope was practing her handstands and flips. mason and carter were having a water gun fight and angel and alexis were just sitting behind the waterfall talking, and tristen was playing splash with me. we had been in the pool for about two hours and it was perfectly sunny and warm when we went in but a couple minutes ago gray clouds started to roll in. i ignored them for a while because it was still sunny and it wasnt lighting or raining, but then i saw lightning and a crack of thunder. the pool sirins we have for lighting started going off. me and roxann hurried to get all the kids out of the pool. i grabed hope and tristen. mason ran out with angel and alexis following but carter wouldnt get out. i put tristen and hope down and told them to go inside and that i would be right in.

"carter jason horan! get out of that pool right now!" i shouted at my child. it had started pouring but i was under the covering that hung over the porch but stoped right before the pool. he refused to listen and just kept himself hovering in the water. he was by the edge so i just grabed him by his arms and pulled him out of the water. he didnt even hesitate and apparently he didnt think it through either because he slaped me right across the face. my head turned to the right from the impact. i glared at my child and draged him inside and up the steps to his bedroom. i threw him down on his bed and started landing smacks to his wet bottom. he shrieked. i just kept laying smacks down. after 35 i started lecturing him.

"you. will. listen. when. you. are. told. to. do. something. and. you. will. not. hit. anyone. ever. again. am i understood.!!" i said and smacked his bum with every word. he sobbed into his arms.

"yes sir" he chocked out. i landed nine smacks to his bum and then the last one i used every ounce of strenght and slaped his butt.

i pulled him in for a hug and cuddeled with him.

"i i i sorry daddy" he sobbed. i rubbed his back gentally and placed a kiss to his brown curly hair.

"its ok carter, its all over, shh. your ok. daddys sorry. daddy forgives you baby" i told him softly. he nodded and layed against my chest and fell asleep to the sound of ne humming in his ear.
