Chapter 3

Zayn POV

Getting home from school I walked up the stairs with Niall, ready to give him a bath.

I'd just picked him up from Harry's dad's house and sure enough, he'd thrown up on himself in the car.

I filled the tub while I undressed him; once again, undressing him was as much as a challenge that dressing him was.

I checked the water and nodded to myself, feeling it was good to put Niall in the tub.

His tail splashed around, that was something he always did.

Yes, the little kit sprouted a tail. A small white fluffy tail.

He splashed me with water, giggling.

This is something I'll never be able to get back.

These were the memories you would simply forget because they were so simple.

These were moments Harry wouldn't know.

The moments Harry and I couldn't share.

Why was it him?

I wouldn't wish this upon anyone, but why was it him?

When would he wake up?

Soon

When will he be able to hold Niall again?

Soon

Soon, soon, soon, soon

I picked up Niall and wrapped him in a towel, holding him close to me.

He pulled his arms and legs close to him, putting his head on my chest and falling asleep.

I had only his diaper on when a knock sounded at Niall's door.

"Come in!"

Louis, my beta, opened the door.

"Alpha, the Blue Acid pack has a request."

"What is it?"

"They'd like to stay here."

"How long are we looking at?"

Landon repeated the question into the phone.

"A month"

"I have a condition. I'd like to talk to the Alpha."

"Yes Alpha."

"This is the Alpha of the Dark Night pack, Alpha Zayn. I have a condition for your pack to stay here. Is this Alpha Liam?"

"Yes it is. Hello, Alpha Zayn. What is this condition?"

"My condition is your pack will help us do shifts to hunt the rogues of our territory."

"We agree. Is that all?"

"That's all."

"We'll be there in a week's time. See you then, Alpha Zayn."
