The bell stopped ringing and Sheera pushed Luis out of the way of the peeking hole. Sheera peered outside, nothing moving except the snow. Sheera sniffed the air and smelled something vaguely familiar, but she just couldn't but she her finger on what. She heard approaching, heavy footsteps. The sound of clanking metal rang chills up Sheera's spine. Suddenly, a big shape appeared. Sheera remembered its scent now, rhino.

Two rhinos appeared, followed by a elephant. Why did it have to be big guys...
Anyway, they walked slowly into town, only the sound of wind and snow around them. Sheera, suddenly, opened the door and walked outside. She could hear the little whispered of no's from the goons behind her. Sheera rolled her eyes and approached them.

"Hello, snow leaped." Said a rhino with a deep voice. Sheera didn't respond, she just put her Nina mask on. "What are you doing outside? Didn't you here the bell?" The rhino said angrily. Sheera didn't respond. She went right up in Sheera's face and snorted. "Do you know who your dealing with sweety?" Sheera shook her head in the motion of no. "Well then, I'll tell you. We are some of the many knights of lord Grizzwald, a powerful night and wizard. We come every month to pillage this town, and they don't seem to mind. So we take what we want, and don't care about any abjections." He grinned evil like, and walked up to Sheera. He was much taller.

"Do you have any abjections?" Sheera, under her mask smiled. "Yes, this." Sheera grabbed her stick and swiftly swatted the rhino's leg. He groaned in pain and bent down to hold his hurt knee. When he did this, Sheera pushed his head down into the snow and stood on it. The other rhino saw this and rushed over to help. Sheera saw this and leapt over the rhino, making them clash onto each other. They both got up and started attacking Sheera. Or, at least they tried.

Sheera was so nimble, every attack missed and ended up coaching against one another's weapons. The elephant came and picked up Sheera with his trunk, but Sheera still did not give up. She grabbed her stick and whacked the elephant's head and shoulder pad. They ran, cowardly, and Sheera stood. She breathed started to ease out, and Luis came out. "You idiot! You could've gotten killed!" He said and Sheera whacked his arm. "Ow! Okay, I'm sorry." He laughed and hugged Sheera.

The towns folk came out started to ask Sheera questions, but Sheera was too tired to answer. "I got to go and rest, see you later." She waved to the towns folk and walked with the question filled Luis. "We're you scared? How did you do that?" He asked, but Sheera ignored him.

They made it to Luis's house and opened the door. Instead of a rush of puppies, a warm hug from Luis's mother welcomed her. "You look beaten!" The mother gasped and Luis laughed. "Because she beat the raiders!" The mother gasped. "You did?" Sheera nodded but asked her to please not shower her with questions. "Well, I'll try." The mother said to rest, ?Sheera was going to anyways. Sheera walked to the attic ladder. "Have a nice rest." Luis said and opened his room door.

Sheera smiled and climbed the ladder and flopped onto the bed. She yawned, pulling up the covers and closing her eyes. She drifted off to sleep in moments...

Suddenly, Sheera opened her eyes to see dead people, blood pools under their bodies. They looked familiar, like older versions of Sheera. Sheera looked down at her hands, they were covered in blood as well. She left the small home to find guards outside the house. A tall, slender polar bear stood among the guards. He took her hand and led Sheera away, away from the bloody house...

Sheera woke up with a jolt, flinging herself up from that nightmare. She breathed in and calmed herself. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and got up. She grabbed her stick and went down stairs... Or down the ladder. She crept down the stairs and went outside, it was dark. Sheera's a snowlepard, they have night vision. Sheera walked outside and breathed in the fresh air. She sat down on the cold snow and closed her eyes. She listened closely and carefully to the sounds of the forest. Animals sleeping and night hunters hunting.

The trees swayed in the wind and the snow fluttered in the breeze. Sheera was calm. She went back inside and sat down on the couch with a plop. She heard and door creek open, and Sheera perked her ears up. She heard someone creep downstairs and walk to the couch, and it's little head popped up. It was one of the wolf children, this one named Ethan I think.

He looked at Sheera and she looked at him, it was like a staring contest. "You have blue eyes." He said, Sheera raised an eye brow. "I know, but thank you." She said and sat back in the couch. The wolf sat next to her and kept staring at Sheera, it was very uncomfortable. Soon, Sheera's eyebrow was twitching it was so weird and awkward. "What do you want?" Sheera asked finally. Ethan shrugged, "I don't know." Sheera sat bat down and sighed.

After a while, Ethan started to yawn. And, finally, fell asleep. Sheera looked at the cute little pup, his tail twitching in his sleep. She picked him up and climbed the stairs to his room with the other children. She placed him in the one empty bed and left the room, closing the door silently. She went to the end of the hall and heard the wind. This was confusing, why would you leave the window open. Sheera opened the door a bit and peeked in. But, she didn't see Luis. She only saw an open window.

Sheera quickly grabbed her stick and ran to the door. She flung the door open, but closed it silently to not disturb the family. She went to the window, it was high up but it had a ladder on the side. She saw foot prints, leading into the darkness of the forest. Sheera dashed into the darkness, following the footprints until she heard something.
