Chapter 2

Shin's PoV

'So, they're gonna follow me?'

I lightly sighed while glancing at the rundown house, where they are hiding. I can see white and black on the sides. I shook my head laughing mentally, at how ridiculous they looked.

"You do know that this is forbidden right?" I calmly asked them while shaking my head.

"Stop mocking us brat!"

"You!!-"

When he was about to hit me, a gate opened and dropped off a gift, which is a bamster. I sigh, frustrated that I need to summon my katana so that I can kill the Trion Soldier.

I fished for a piece of paper before biting my thumb. I crouched down while the idiots screamed, writing the kanji for shadow, at the upper right corner while the kanji of light is at the lower left part. In the middle was the already written kanji of control. I wiped my now red thumb, now noticing the bamster heading my way. The three musketeers ran off to 'god-knows-where'.

As it roared loudly, I smacked the sealing paper at the ground. I closed my black orbs, my right hand held the sealing paper in place, while my other hand closed. Both the Index and Middle finger facing upwards.

"Gyakusatsu, Kageoni"

I quickly ran towards it. I crouched below the bamster and jumped high, and sliced it on to halves. I jumped away fast enough so it wouldn't fall on me. I sighed before sealing Kageoni.

"Please come out, its rather annoying if your gonna follow me"

Yuma's PoV

'So she noticed us...'

I nodded at Osamu and nudged him forward. He gave a shaky smile and walked out of our hiding place- if that's what you call it- and quickly followed Osamu with a duck face. While him and Shin were talking, I noticed that she has a black bracelet on her left arm. Just plain black and a line of white.

'A black trigger?... Could it be...'

"If your wondering if this is a black trigger or not, then yes it is. My ring is where my chaperone is, since animals aren't allowed in school" I just stood there, dumbfounded that she knows what I'm thinking, and at the same time, having a black trigger. I regained my posture and stared at her, looking for evidence if she's lying or not.
"I see, we will see you tomorrow, Shin-san" I quickly told her when I sensed she is not lying.

Time Skip, Next Day
•SCHOOL•

Shin's PoV

I calmly walked in my classroom while sighing for the millionth time. My brother just finished lecturing me, about the forbidden zone and to not enter it, what if I got hurt, and many many more. I quickly got my book out of my pockets and started reading it. Students started filling the classroom and Sakura-sensei started her lecture.

'Im way too high to them. Well, I have an IQ of 300 after all' I thought while looking boredly at the front.

I rested my head on top of my hands, looking bored as ever. Shuuji-nii grounded me from my books, so I needed to buy something to read. I was out of my thoughts, silently tapping the wooden desk when an alarm broke out.

'Gate Activity Warning! Gate Activity Warning! All civilians, please evacuate'

It suddenly became dark and marmods came out of the portal-thingy. All of the students were rushing, Tetsumi and Akira only went with the flow, whi calmly walked out of the door, following where they ran off.

Akira's PoV

'Goddamn it! Why can't Shin go with the flow?!'

I paced back and forth, growing nervous for her safety. I sneaked out as silently as I could but to no avail, Tetsumi grabbed my collar and shook her head no. I glared at her and she tightened her grip on my collar, glaring back. I sighed and nodded while raising both of my hands, signalling I surrendered.

"Its fine. If its her, it will be fine" I heard Tetsumi mumble on her breath, along with curses.

We soon heard a loud crashing sound, but when we looked at it, we released the heavy breath were holding. A few minutes or so, Shin came back, unscathed, along with a bruised Yuma and Mikumo. As soon as they get near, students started cheering and bombards Mikumo lots of questions and complements.

"Senpai, did you kill the neighbor?!"

"Mikumo-kun! That's awesome!"

"Arigato, senpai!"

"Man! I didn't know he was a Border Agent!"

He laughed nervously and began shaking his hands, signalling it was fine. Yuma and his other classmates are chatting. The white haired boy started telling stories about how great he is, and how he rescued him, Mikumo was about to scold Yuma for telling such unnecessary details when someone shouted,

"Ah! Looks like were late!"

"Look! It's Arashiyama Squad!"

"Kitora-san!"

"Woah! Aren't they A-Ranks?!"

I quickly ran at Shin and hugged the life out of her. She immediately started struggling when Tetsumi pointed that she is turning blue from lack of oxygen. I laughed sheepishly and scratched my neck.

"You could've killed me, Akira-san" She said while dusting her skirt

"B-but!"

I started reasoning at Tetsumi who just smacked me in the head, while Shin sighed and told her to stop abusing me. My mouth literally dropped to the ground when Arashiyama Squad greeted her.

"Yo, Mi-chan!"

"Miwa-chan! You study here?!"

"Ohayo, Miwa-kun"

She greeted them back and I almost laughed at how she answered Kitora from Arashiyama,

"Ohayo Arashiyama-san, Tokieda-san, Kitora-san. And, of course I study here, if not, then I would have been reading at home"

Arashiyama-san pointed at Kitora-san and started laughing. She looked away with a small 'hmph'. I heard Shin sigh, and mutters something I caught up.

'I'm going home'
