"I'm Phil!" Said the man with darker hair. "Hi Phil," I giggled. "Do you uh, want to come have Bubble Tea with us?" Asked Dan nervously. My face lit up. "I love Bubble Tea!" I exclaimed excitedly. "Whoa there," said Phil, laughing. "Come on. It's on me," said Dan, leading me into the shop. "Ladies first," he said, motioning Phil to step through the door first. I laughed, and Phil sent an eye roll toward Dan and smiled. We sat down at a little table by the window. "What will it be for you today?" Asked our waitress. Phil ordered a coconut bubble tea, as did I, but I added a chocolate croissant. Dan got a green tea flavored bubble tea, and a powdered donut. "So are you new to London?" Asked Dan, smiling kindly. "Is it that obvious?" I ask, embarrassed. "Well, let's see, you just got your journal stolen, didn't order a powdered donut, and you are all alone. Major mistakes," he laughs playfully. I giggled in response. "Oh, really? And who made you king?" I poke him gently in the ribs. "So, what made you come to London? I mean anywhere has got to have better weather than here, so that can't be it," Phil laughs awkwardly. "Oh! Well I'm a writer. Or, at least trying to be," I say. "I came to London for inspiration," I add. "Cool! I'm not very good at writing," Dan says, scratching his neck. "What are you writing about?" Asks Phil, curiously. "I'm not quite sure yet," I admit. "You could write about a little lion who travels across the world on a magical adventure!" exclaims Phil, excitedly. "Ummm... Or not..." Said Dan casting an awkward glance at Phil. "What do you guys do for a living?" I ask, realizing that all the focus has been on me. "We're YouTubers!" Explained Dan. "Oh, cool! I'm like obsessed with YouTube!" I say. "Where are you staying?" Asked Phil, shifting the topic back to me. "Well, I'm not really sure. My hotel cancelled on me," I say, hoping they won't think I'm a weird hobo. "Another rookie mistake!" Grins Dan, waggling a finger in my face. "Would... you like to um, stay at our apartment for a while?" Offers Phil politely. I gasp with delight. "Really?!" "Sure," shrugs Dan, trying to hold back a smile. "Let's go get you settled in," says Phil, taking my hand and leading me toward the door. "Okay, okay! Let's go!" I squeal.
